Good opportunity for Boller to step up and compete for the starting job.

I actually think having Bulger on the sidelines for a few games observing is a good thing.

          TADA!

I don't think getting hurt is never a good thing specially on his throwing hand. What can he learn on the sidelines that he couldn't learn playing?

Great picture of Brock Berlin BRM, although I don't see a coach in that picture. ;)

Sure, having bulger on the sideline is going to really help him develop some timing with our brand new wide receivers.

Look, either which way, whether Marc does really well this season or not, I wouldn't be surprised for us to draft a QB of the future. Bulger isn't young, and again, whether a great season or not, he's not the long term solution anymore. I'd say a year or two at best and Bulger is done with football... Our future QB will be groomed by him and develop on the sidelines for a year or two...

This sucks. I wanted to see more of Bulger, see if he is ready for the season.

But this is good to figure out who our back up will be. I really like Keith Null right now, so I hope he gets to see more opportunity to play.

He's not out 2 weeks. He's out AT LEAST 2 weeks.

"The St. Louis Rams expect to be without Marc Bulger for at least two weeks after the veteran quarterback broke the pinkie finger on his throwing hand during practice Monday morning."

He'll likely be physically ready for week 1 but will he be physically prepared to play? New center, new WRs, new system and new coaches. That's a lot of change.

Great, this is all we need.

                          1) Bulger needs to play in order to get his timing down with our new WRs
                          2) A pinkie injury is serious business for a QB. Warner broke his in 2002 and we all saw how ineffective he was when he came back from it. It didn't fully heal until the end of the season.

I'll tell you one thing; I don't wanna hear Jason Brown complaining about Marc's rough hands again. Not gonna get much sympathy for your nuggets after you snapped our starting QB's digit in practice, big guy.
