I just sat thru 55 minutes of crappy sportscenter, all the baseball blah blah blah, etc, so I could watch the Rams highlights. Then they show every Bengals highlight, even a lame 8 yard catch by Chad OchoEstupido, but not one Rams highlight. And of course there were 2-3 jokes about the Rams by the commentators. What a joke that show has turned into.

Re: I really hate Sportsenter!
I noticed the same thing when we beat the Jets. These clowns were all over sanchez, even though we won the game. Expect more of this until we start kicking people's A**!! We have made "some" positive moves in the right direction. We are getting better, that strip by "O" was awesome. That guy is a hawk. We have some of the pieces. We continue to get better. -
Re: I really hate Sportsenter!
Yea, I usually just watch the Highlights on NFL.com. Sports Center was a huge waste of time.Comment

Re: I really hate Sportsenter!
ESPN needs to be renamed VFBN(Vick Favre And Brady Network). Sportscenter is a joke. unforunatly its the only way i get to see anything beside computer highlights and news(which is better). oh well.
GO RAMS!!!!!!

Re: I really hate Sportsenter!
I couldn't agree more with all of you. I think ESPN has become a characature of itself by trying to be hip with their blogging segments and spending gobs of time talking about Vick and Farve, who for better or worse will have little impact on the NFL season, IMO. I do like Chris Berman for entertainment value and Chris Mortenson and John Clayton have credibility when they speak, beyond that it's a waste of time. I do like Mel Kiper, but only in short spurts.
Oh well, at least we won last nite and we're beginning to establish a winning attitude which is critical. Cannot wait for 9/13 when we hopefully blast the Seahags!
Go Rams!Comment

Re: I really hate Sportsenter!
If ESPN had a choice they'd show Yankees And Redsox games over and over 24/7. NFL Network needs to be broadcast nationally, at least they do a decent job of spreading the love.Comment

Re: I really hate Sportsenter!
When your team wins 5 games in two years, they ARE going to be the brunt of many jokes, and I guess it should be expected. The Rams and Missouri just aren't glamorous or entertaining enough for most TV viewers on the east coast, I suppose. (isn't ESPN based in Connecticut?) I too noticed that when highlights of the Rams/Bungles game were shown immediately after the game, all I saw was the punt return for a TD by the Bungles, and the ONE catch by Ochothedumba**.
...followed by, of course, more highlights off Mike Vick and Brett Favor. :|Comment

Re: I really hate Sportsenter!
DirecTV has a monopoly on the Sunday Ticket package, not the NFL Network. I would bet some people don't even know that their cable provider has it. I watch it through Dish Network and never even watch ESPN anymore. I got tired of them spending 45 minutes an hour talking about teams on the East Coast.Comment
