  • Player of the game

    Tough week for us.

Who stood out to you the most?

I think it should go to Donnie Jones. :|

Anytime we have a week like this it should go to Donnie Jones. This week, he should get it for repeatedly pinning the Seachickens deep. Unfortunately that just gave them longer drives...:|
    I believe!:ram:

      J. Lau, and I don't see any way anybody could dispute this ...

14 tackles, 10 solo, 1 tackle for loss, forced fumble, fumble recovery ...

I was gonna say Atogway, but the more I think about it, Donnie Jones. He was consistant all game. Atogway had a few lapses.

Yes. This is my vote. However, being upset I had to sarcastically put Jones. haha

My vote goes for J Lau. He was a bright spot on our defense.

If a team won their division seven straight times, that would be a NFL record. Now add on that team did it with seven different QB's in seven straight years, that record is unbeatable. To do that feat, you must of had a great Defense. Jack Youngblood was the captain of that defense.

yeah Laurent looks a keeper..J-Lau didnt play like it was his first real game in the NFL..Bulger although shut out..showed me he`s not finished in the NFL just yet.

it got ugly after the 1st Q but if we only hadnt had 12 players on the field during that FG block that was returned for a TD then scrubbed off..it could have been a lot different..

im a realist but i can still see some things in some of these players that are positives to build on...we didnt stop fighting and we have some good young players who should develope into better ones.
it will take time tho ,so we need to be patient and support this young team through the inevitable bumps that are needed to be worked through before we become a great team again.

The ref for exposing that fool Incognito and saving us a season full of headaches. Good riddance moron!

But on the Rams, definitely Jones...hopefully he gets a Pro Bowl nod this year...he's a stud.

How about blown coverage on Carlson all game long? The 1st TD was 100% his fault, the 2ns one partially his and all of Carlson's catches he was uncovered and some of that has to fall in his lap too. Yeah he's a tackling machine, but his pass coverage STINKS.

I cant believe someone voted robinson when he dropped a catchable ball that hit him on the shoulder pads on a long pass in the first half. Dont get me wrong, he did pretty well today, but that was a very big miss, it should have been caught. The answer is either donnie jones or son of the animal.

                              1. Our punter DJ for me as well (although ashamed to admit it). His punts, coupled with very good pursuit by the Rams ST squad made for excellent yardage -- but again, I'm sorry to see the Sawks eat up the turf gained for us, as Teke mentioned.

                              2. Laurinaitis. He most definitely showed great potential and good play, continous hussle. B u t RFTID already pointed out how JL missed a couple of BIG, costly coverage plays on Seattle's TE. I trust this 1st game will help James learn and improve. It sure was a "welcome to the NFL" test of fire...
