  • Rams going to the Capital

Week one sucked, sucked real bad. Best thing about that game is that is over!

But it is over, week 2 vs the Skins is just a few days away and its time to get back behind the Rams. Last year the Rams were just as big or bigger under dogs and the Rams won. Skins didn't do anything last week that was special, the didn't even score a Offensive TD til less then 2 mins to go and NY was in prevent D just making sure the clock kept running.

Get the positive vibe going and post why you think the Rams will win.

I will start from an outside looking in standpoint! Qwest is the loudest stadium in the NFL and in the first half the Rams were toe to toe! As long as they looked very close at the game tape you guys will make slight adjustments to alignment that can make a big difference. The Rams are used to playing the hawks, but they weren't used to playing these hawks and it was clear that we surprised you at times. You can't bet your ass the SJ is getting the bulk of the action, and I for one am all for that. I will be pulling for the Rams in this game as you have been very gracious in accepting "enemy" seahawk fans. Down to the skins and the niners

Let's hope that Jason Brown can back up the comments he made regarding Haynesworth this pre-season. If Haynesworth disrupts us up the middle it's going to be a loonnng day.

We've really really got to establish a running game and wear down Haynesworth early.

I was there last year, and yes it was loud. But there was nothing as loud as the silence I heard after we made the game winning field goal! Anything is possible, hope springs eternal, GO RAMS GO!!!! :ram:

Re: Rams going to get a Capital W.

They know we don’t have much so they will put 8 in the box to stop SJ and dare us to throw, so we have to make plays down the field. I like the fact that our guys are saying all the right thing’s we have a chance. We need things to go right early for us to win.

          Go Rams!!

They might win because I won't be there! Frikkin' kid's football league scheduled his very first ever game on Sunday! I mean, honestly who does that?? Sunday is for church and the NFL, everyone knows this! Arrrrgh..

In any case I gave up my ticket so I could attend his game. So now my wife is taking a friend of hers. So count yourself lucky, Rams fans. ;)

Wait a minute, you gave your ticket......TO YOUR WIFE???? Dude, that's why I'm not married. I would pull a Jake Blues and come up with so many excuses to go to that game.....lol

Anyway, kudos to you for sticking by your son. Now, what you should do is have a little talk with the director of that league and tell him/her that you will sick ACORN on them if they do that again.

I wont be there either slug, if that counts for anything.

I think last year was a lucky win thanks to teams with little offense and a fumble that was returned for a td before half time. SJ's fumble also put points on the board for the skins.

These two teams are not known for their offensive scoring power. Hopefully it will be a close game.

We did it last year with a worse team. I think we have a good shot again this year.

Brown better play extra hard. He made those comments about Haynesworth. Last thing we need is Haynesworth throwing Brown into Bulger.

I won't be there either, but the Rams are 3-1 the last 4 meetings against the Redskins, for whatever it's worth.

Well, technically I gave my ticket to a friend of my wife's. My wife and I are season ticket holders with a pair of seats in the Club level. We always go together (she's a big football fan too) except on occasion when I take one of my sons.

In the past when one of the kids has had something scheduled on a home game Sunday I've just said something along the lines of, "Sorry pal, Daddy loves you, but it's the Redskins" and I go to the game. Unfortunately this is his first football game ever. He's really excited and I'd feel like a complete tool if I missed it.

'sides, I got enough of y`all when you upset us last year. Thankfully you don't have Pete Kendall to help you by hallucinating and thinking he's a running back this time around.
