Now correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't an MCL injury usually pretty bad? If Smith and/or Brown miss time, our line could go from bad to worse. Hope these guys are okay.
Redskins RG Thomas, Rams RT Smith leave game with injuries
Associated Press
LANDOVER, Md. -- Washington Redskins right guard Randy Thomas and St. Louis Rams right tackle Jason Smith were both hurt in Sunday's game, with both players requiring follow-up examinations to determine the severity of their injuries.
Thomas strained his right triceps during the first half, and the injury appears to be serious. Redskins coach Jim Zorn said Thomas will be evaluated Monday, but quarterback Jason Campbell spoke as if the team will have to rely on other linemen for the foreseeable future.

"Other guys have to step up," Campbell said.
Thomas, who was replaced by third-year pro Will Montgomery, sat dejected on the sideline and declined to comment afterward.
Smith, the No. 2 overall draft pick, left in the second quarter with a knee injury and didn't return. Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo said Smith will undergo an MRI but didn't estimate how long the rookie could be out.
Rams center Jason Brown left the game late in the first quarter with a medial collateral ligament injury in his right knee, but he returned in the second quarter.
Redskins cornerback Fred Smoot was inactive with a rib injury, and second-year pro Justin Tryon took his place.
