  • Anyone else see Boller's block?

I am not Bolger bashing, but that guy is playing with heart. The block he laid down in his 2nd or 3rd series was mean. I am happy to see Boller playing like he wants the starting job. About time we play with some heart. Let's hope once Bolger gets healthy he carries some of that tenacity onto the field with him too.

How can you not spell the last name of our starting QB? "BULGER". But yes, I saw the block and I loved it.

Being at the game, and seeing the block live was great. Boller has a ton of heart, I give him that. He just doesn't have the accuracy that Bulger can display when given time. Unfortunately, with the line as it is, I don't know when he might see that time. I'm a solid Bulger supporter, but I was quite happy with what Boller did today.

I WANT to love Boller's game, but his accuracy is below average. Would I love to see him be the backup here for about 7 or 8 years. Absolutely ...

The thing that bothers me about Boller is he seems to be fairly accurate when he's moving around. Those two touchdown passes were things of beauty, perfectly thrown and tight spirals. Then he does something baffling like the INT, a throw that was two feet behind a wide open receiver ...

The starter? I don't think we'd be too successful. Could he win games? Sure, but it would always be a crapshoot with him ...

Infiniti, those are really my thoughts exactly. I was very happy with his play coming in off the bench, but I just know it that we're always going to get a mixed bag with him. Hopefully Bulger's back next week.

If you watched him play against Washington, then you already saw it.

But yes, it sounds like Boller's block was quite the sight. I'm going to be on the lookout for it when I'm able to sit down and watch the game.

Bulger has been playing with heart too, like when he took the hit against the Hawks and got up jawing

i have to say though, Boller showed heart throwing the block, but we had already lost our starting QB for the game through to injury, and he throws himself into that block? Thats not smart.

Let us not forget the hit that Bulger put on the Indy defender that intercepted his pass a few years back. That is playing with heart, but he was also out for weeks with a shoulder injury from doing that. I would prefer that neither Bulger nor Boller make a habit of blocking.

what i hope is that bulger feels the heat and turns it up a couple of notches..

the same D that hamstrung Bulger was the same D that Boller handled rather nicely for 20 minutes.. im not advocating a change, its just that Bulger just seems to go "oh well" and take the lost yards too often.. maybe now he will be thinking "maybe i should have ran that one out"

he's got to know the fans will be looking for at least SOME more mobility from Bulger after Boller's little intro.. and if not more more mobility then make it up somewhere else..

Yeah, I liked it. I think he needed to do that to provide a spark, but shouldn't look to do that in the future so much. He got up alill slow after that, but that is what this team needed.

Boller actually looked OK. I would like to give him a shot this week. He is slower than i thought though, lol. His too negatives I saw was when he had to scramble he threw across his body and into danger. Also, he threw balls all at the same speed. Sometimes alil touch can help.

Hopefully we give him the nod this week to shake it up.
