  • If Bulger leaves the Rams next season...

will he take his new team to a Superbowl 5 years later? Leading to all of us having a go at the FO for getting rid of him?

The difference is that this time we are thinking about kicking out our QB we dont have a pro bowl QB to replace him

i very much doubt if he will be in the League in 2 years let alone 5..(due to injuries) but say he does..i could only see that happening on a team who are capable of getting to the Superbowl regardless of who plays at the QB postion.

so what exactly are you suggesting Tomahawk..the player that hasnt produced in 3 years now..should be rewarded by being kept for another 5 just to make sure?

am not a bulger hater atall by the way..just love the Rams far more than any player..always have always will.

P.S without Fitz,Boldin,Breaston and a solid line..Warner would still be seen as an has-been!

Nah im just messing around thinking "what if"

To be honest i would be surprised if it did happen, but i was surprised Warner could ressurect his career too

I don't think he will be in the NFL after 5 years with all his injuries.

Superbowl? LOL! If he leaves the Rams, more than likely, he'll be nothing more than a back up if even that.

              Bulger or Bust?
              by Guest
Let me start off from a quote from VegasRam which is truely factual:

"We yap and yap and yap about all our other problems, and while that's valid, it's amazing how a good QB reduces their significance. Look at the Packers the other nite. Played like crap, (175 yards in penalties alone), but won with what I consider an excellent QB, against a good D.

I like Bulger a lot, and think he's a good QB. Make that was. He flat doesn't have it anymore for whatever reason - mental and/or physical.

The Colts floundered for years, until guess what? Same with Dallas. Same with Arizona. Same with Pittsburgh. Same with the Saints. Same with the Giants. Same with the Chargers. Same with Seattle. Same with the Pats. Same with Denver in reverse.

It starts and ends with the QB, and we need one NOW!"

Now i know some of you are absolute Bulger fans and would love to sniff his Jock if he gave you the chance (not naming any names ;-) But it seems like some of you are so blindly following him that it doesn't matter how or what he does you support him and anybody else who doesn't support him you get mad at them and have a two year old fit. Others of you will say this topic has been beat to death, thanks for your opinion then don't comment on this thread there are others who want our voices heard....

This is exactly how I feel about Bulger which is a good quote "I think Bulger is a good guy and he puts up a lot of effort and he plays hurt, but he also misses easy throws and does not seem motivated to move the chains at times. I like seeing other QBs in there right now, just for a change."

I like Bulger personally and he had some great seasons with us but whether it is Physical or Mental/Confidence problems he has now I don't think he can get the job done for us anymore as a starter. He has taking a hell of a beating the last couple of years from our crappy line and He's kinda like a boxer who gets knocked out and rocked for the first time and is never the same again like he was in his prime. We have about one more yea rleft maybe with Bulger as our QB and I'd like to see him mentor a QB we get in the draft for a year before he leaves and I don't think it makes much sense to get rid of him after this season with all the dead money that will be involved of just letting him go after the saeson but who knows..... ownership has gotten rid of all veterens on the team and he may be next...

              Qstn? for the bulger lovers.

Alright lets look at the team that won the superbowl, the Steelers.. They won close games in play offs and the superbowl, the Hero and big play
maker " Big Ben" that led, and wills his team to win even with one of the worst
O lines in the NFL. Correct me if im wrong but i believe he was the most
sacked qb in the league. That being said, lets trade qb's for that season.
Does Pitt even make the playoffs with Bulger? And how many game would
we have won with Big ben.. My guess is Pitt does not make the playoffs
and the Rams go 8n8 at least. And dont bring up the D, I am talking about
the diff between having one or the other QB.

IF you wanted to get rid of Bulger, how do u do it?
              by Guest
Please don't enter this thread to complain about another Bulger thread. Some people here don't like Bulger and they've got just as much right to post here as anyone else. Soo, I'm interested.

How do you get rid of Bulger?

              Bulger is the right choice...
              by CRAZYHORNS
I am a huge Warner fan. I was very upset when the Rams let him go. However, the Rams are my team and all I could do was hope that this move would allow Bulger to step up....

I was unimpress with Bulger eventhough his numbers compared fairly well to the top QB's in the league.

Something happen this year?? I am not sure when and exactly how but Bulger showed me some HEART..... Maybe I did not realize what we had until Chandler had to step in???

I am now officially a Bulger fan.... I maybe a little late but I am impress.... I feel the Rams will be overlooked next year.... I have a very good feeling about this upcoming season..... If the Rams can field a tenacious D with an above average special teams the Rams can once again dominate this league....

Bulger needs to be Da Man
              by dgr828
Maybe or hopefully Marc Bulger can put it all together this year. A successful QB must have a handle on all situations.
The past few seasons has seen Bulger regress as far as putting up the numbers, staying healthy or getting W's. The early part of Marc's career saw him as a hotshot QB, taking over for Kurt Warner, running the Mike Martz offense, just missing the Super Bowl a couple times. Basically Bulgers game has become stale. Maybe Marc has failed to grasp the Linehan Playbook.

What ever the reason, NOW! is the time for Marc Bulger to show his leadership skills as Quarterback for the Saint Louis Rams.

To put it simply, Bulger needs to be 'Da Man'
Da Man gets the W's...all else are losers!
