    1. Despite the loss, a good time was had by all.
    2. The toasted ravs were excellent, as usual!
    3. Great to see me mates from the UK and friends from around the U.S.
    4. The group did a great job answering some tough trivia questions for some great prizes.
    5. There were a few minutes there when it looked like the Rams had a shot for a great comeback. While it was ulitimately not to be, those few minutes were what it is all about.
    6. Boller showcased all the things that make it tempting to start him over Bulger.
    7. Boller also showcased all the things that make Bulger the starter.
    8. I've resigned myself to the fact that it is very likely, and probably preferable, that neither will be the Rams' starting QB in 2010.
    9. Leonard Little had to sacks, but no other tackles. I still think he should be the pass rush specialist, with Long the starting LDE.
    10. Randy McMichael is D-O-N-E, done. Too bad nobody thought of cutting him during the preseason. Oh... wait... somebody did. Who was that, again?
    11. Steven Jackson is an elite player. Let's hope he still is when the Rams get some more offensive firepower around him.
    12. The loss of Laurent Robinson hurts.
    13. I think a few more Avery fly patters are in order.
    14. The CBs had trouble with long passes, but where was the safety help?
    15. I could swear that Laurinaitis had more than 3 tackles in the game.
    16. Dahl is a nice addition who should hold down the fort well until Butler returns.
    17. What was up with the Packer skank sitting in front of me?
    18. Dez, Randy, Kyle and others who couldn't make it... we missed you, guys!
    19. I really thought I'd do the after-party this year but, alas, I'm not 20something anymore, and I can't really pretend to be.
    20. If you've never been to a Bash, go next year. You won't be sorry.

P.S. I took some good pics and will try to post them in the next day or two.

I watched every shot of the crowd looking for you guys. But alas, I didn't see any clannies on TV.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

She wasn't too offensive while she was passed out during halftime and most of the 2nd half!

I'll say. She was S-C-A-R-Y, in more ways than one. Her boyfriend/son was very creepy as well.

Av getting some good pics is an understatement. I can't wait to see the awesome shots he got of both TD's from our section in the corner.

Glad everyone had a good time, I've still to try the toasted ravs .. maybe later this year .. My question to those lucky enough to attend is: Was there a noticable difference in the Dome after the expenditure of $30 million bucks to make it a better experience for the fans?

Yes, the scoreboards were quite nice and they even have a closed caption for the announcer which helped in determining some calls. Also, they have running scores from around the league as well which was a nice add. The last thing that we noticed, being right at the back end of the 103 section was a bunch of LCD TV's that were wired into the scoreboards as well, which was a very nice addition.

I can't find any coverage of the pre-game number retiring. How was the crowd? Did they do the great Deacon justice?

Yeah, those TV's in front of us were great. Being able to watch replays and get info was a very nice surprise.

                            1. Every Bash is fun, but there's nothing like a win!

                            2. I don't know... maybe the trivia questions were too easy this time?

                            3. Jake's on the Landing added toasted ravs to the menu!

                            4. Great to see some of the old guard, and some new Bash attendees.

                            5. Greg Zurlein is not human.

                            6. Its nice to see a game from the endzone view once in a while, as you can see things that you'd miss watching from the "TV angle." For example, on TV, Bradford's interception probably looked like a horrible throw. From the endzone, it was obvious that Brandon Gibson had run the wrong pattern on a timing play.

                            7. All things considered, the O line did a very nice job. Part of that is due to smart gameplanning and play calling.

                            8. I think the Rams can go ahead and delete that kickoff reverse play from the playbook.

                            9. TekeRam called the fake field goal play seconds before the snap.

                            10. Best use of multi-media at the dome: in the fourth quarter during a time-out, they had a montage of movie clips featuring famous scenes of coaches firing up teams (from movies such as Rudy and Remember the Titans). Mixed in with these scenes is Tom Green from Road Trip repeating "Unleash the Fury!!!!"

                            11. I was jealous of those kids who got the free J-Lau bobble-heads!

                            12. The crowd was a bit more sparse than I'd like, but they were loud at the right times.

                            13. That said, there were very few Seahawk fans.

                            14. Janoris Jenkins is a guy who you really notice (for good reasons) despite his rookie status.

                            15. Michael Brockers got his feet wet, and I saw him move the pile a few times. Truth is, most of Lynch's yards were not between the tackles but, rather, the result of a poor job of sealing the ends.

                            16. Russell Wilson is a nice story, but I don't think he's the Hawks' long-term solution at QB.

                            17. Union Station was pretty dead - only one Rams gear shop left. But, the shop owner told me that with Stan buying the place, she expects it will be getting a huge face lift.

                            18. A record of 2-2 (2-0 at home) feels pretty good.

                            19. I'm expecting a lot more of you to jump on the Bashwaggon next year!

                            20. Don't argue with me on the boards this week. No matter what the subject is, I'm just going to go with, "Well, you may have a point there, but I predicted the exact score of the Seahawks-Rams game."

                            1. I wonder what it felt like when the Pony Express was the fastest means of communication?

                            2. Could you imagine having ice delivered to your house like they used to?

                            3. It was hot last night here in Texas, I wonder how it felt when air conditioning wasn't yet invented but fashion dictated a 3 piece suit?

                            4. They just discovered a new tribe in the Amazon. Why do I think this is a very bad sign of our planets destruction?

                            5. I can remember gas wars. We used to drive around Poplar Bluff and watch gas stations change the manual sign from 20 cents to 19 cents A GALLON. Yes younguns, gas used to go down in price.

                            1. I guess Bulger can produce in this offense.

                            2. Underrated statistic - Steven Jackson: 77 touches, 0 fumbles.

                            3. Underrated statistic #2 - Marc Bulger: 99 passing attempts, 0 interceptions.

                            4. I'm going to avoid the Christmas rush and say it now: Will Witherspoon is the best Rams free agent acquisition since Adam Timmerman. I can finally get over the loss of London Fletcher.

                            5. I'm also glad the rest of the league didn't know Fakhir, like Jim knew Fakhir (is that a song?)

                            6. Get used to Victor Adeyanju in the starting lineup.

                            7. Get ready for Tye Hill in the starting lineup.

                            8. Does a week pass when we aren't thrilled to have Jeff Wilkins?

                            9. That Torry Holt guy can play.

                            10. In case you were wondering, I did feel a little bad for Kurt Warner. But, just a little.

                            11. If I made a list of defensive players from other teams I'd want in a Rams uniform, Adrian Wilson would be in the top 10. Maybe top 5.

                            12. That said, O.J. Atogwe is starting to come along nicely.

                            13. Wonder what the deal is with Ron Bartell and Jeremetrius Butler.

                            14. Nice to see Dexter Coakley make a big play.

                            15. Ditto with Raonall Smith.

                            16. After two road games within the division, the Rams should welcome the home cooking this week.

                            17. Still would like to see more looks to the TE.

                            18. And more screens to Jackson.

                            19. After yesterday's finish, somewhere Joe Pisarcik must have been smiling.

                            20. Say what you want about the troubles that persist but, as Meatloaf once remarked, "Don't be sad, cause two out of three ain't bad."

20 (Whew!!!) Post-Road Win In Denver Random Thoughts
                            by AvengerRam_old
                            1. That fourth quarter was sponsored by Pepcid.
                            2. Sam Bradford. Wow. Just... wow!
                            3. Shurmur... you need to trust Sam when the Rams have the lead. I'm sure there will be a ton more said about the turtleshell playcalling at the end of the game, so I'll leave it at that.
                            4. Winning feels GOOD!!!!!
                            5. First place after 12 weeks feels GREAT!!!
                            6. Chris Long came up HUGE at the end. How can you not like that guy?
                            7. A shout out to James L too for a AWESOME pass breakup on the last series.
                            8. It would be easy to get down on the CBs getting beat, but, let's not forget... Denver has been throwing the ball around like this all season, and two of our top 3 CBs have a total of less than 30 games COMBINED under their belts.
                            9. Josh Brown made four FGs, but his one miss and missed extra point made the game closer than it should have been. I think he'll be the Rams' kicker next year, but he may have to compete to keep his job.
                            10. If Danario Alexander can ever stay healthy for an extended period of time, he'll be a true diamond in the rough. Gotta love the guy's tenacity.
                            11. Bradford: 8.3 yards per attempt today. Like to see that become a trend.
                            12. By my calculation, Sam's QB rating is now at 82.0. In case you've forgotten, he's a rookie.
                            13. I think its time for John Greco and maybe even Hank Fraley to get a few reps at OG. Goldberg, in particular, seems to be getting beat way too much.
                            14. One of the things I really like about this Rams team is that there are very few players about whom you'd say "he's as good as he's ever going to be."
                            15. If you had told me that on November 28 the Rams would be in first place and the Miami Heat would be in third in their respective divisions, I would have called you a crazy person.
                            16. I was at Sam Bradford's first regular season games. That fact becomes more and more of a thing to brag about each week.
                            17. Seattle blown out at home by KC. Didn't see that one coming.
                            18. By the way, I called this one Rams 30-21 before the game. Not a horrible pick.
                            19. Did I mention how much I enjoy it when the Rams win?
                            20. On to Arizona!

20 Random Post-Niner OT Loss Thoughts
                            by AvengerRam_old
                            1. The road woes continue. Ugh.
                            2. That pass interference penalty should not have been called (not catchable). But if you live by the flag, I guess you die by the flag.
                            3. Chris Long gets the game ball as far as I'm concerned. He was nearly unblockable.
                            4. This loss was on the DBs.
                            5. Why didn't Fletcher start?
                            6. Let's hope Saffold is okay.
                            7. Another great performance by Jackson.
                            8. What Bradford is doing with this group of receivers is nothing short of remarkable. If we can get him some receivers who actually separate from defenders, look out.
                            9. Oh, Fells... you should have had that pass on the last regulation drive.
                            10. I think Alex Smith's 49er career just ended, and Troy Smith's just started.
                            11. Can't believe Seattle won so easily. This division is unpredictable, to say the least.
                            12. Sam Bradford did a nice job on the 2 minute drill. Good experience for the next time he needs to get a late score.
                            13. In case you were wondering, Randy Moss had one catch today and his team lost.
                            14. The Rams should take 2 WRs in the first 4 rounds next year, and maybe sign one in FA.
                            15. Mardy Gilyard, where are you?
                            16. Seriously... what happened to our DBs today? 3rd and 32 and you let them complete two passes to get a first down?
                            17. I look forward to the rematch in St. Louis.
                            18. As much as the close losses hurt, they beat the blowout losses of the last two years.
                            19. Bradford has been in the league for 9 games. Just thought I'd remind you of that, as he certainly does not look like a rookie.
                            20. KC was blown out by Denver. The Giants were beat soundly by the Cowboys. If you think you know what's going to happen next... you're wrong.
