  • What does it matter?

The Rams are for sale. So the Qst is, why should Chip put any money into

this tEAM called the Rams? To me everything is in play for moving this team.

Number one would be, why not take a franchise qb when Bulger is not the

future of this team? Sanchez??? Two, why would anyone take the head

coaching job for the Rams? Not Rex Ryan, we did not turn him down, he

turned the Rams down. Georgia taught here steep son well.

The Rams will not spend any money to get things done, and the proof will

be in next years draft. It sucks, I know, but its the truth and we all deep

    inside know it.

who cares if he did or if he didn`t....

any reason why you think he`s better than our Spags?

bearing in mind..he`s only ever coached a defense and now team with more talent in both cases than Spags has.

Im enjoying watching Ryan and the Jets..as they de-throning the Pats..but to quote Dennis Green.."they were who we thought they were".. Ryan is not re-building anything....merely adding icing to the cake Mangini made... Spags has only just got the Eggs and the Flour in..have patience

The Jets are a pretty solid team to add those pieces. Few coaches or QBs will step into a better situation - solid D, excellent O line, special teams and running game. The only real need is at WR. There is no guarantee that if either went to the Rams they would be successful, especially right off the bat. I think Spags was a very good choice, but it'll take some time to get the team to fit what he wants to do.

Sanchez is extremely protected by the Jets. He had only 16 college starts and he was no guarantee even at #5. He's been great so far, but he's not being asked to carry the team. Offensive line isn't the glamour pick and they take some time to develop. It's the last position I'd expect somebody to make that was looking to quickly flip a team at max value.

Mangini made that cake? What the hell is he doing in Cleveland then? Give Tannenbaum some credit.

Rex Ryan would undoubtedly be 0-3 right now if he were the coach of the Rams right now...

To get back to the point, we took Jason Smith with our 1st pick because he was the best talent available at that pick, that included our needs. Our coaching staff and front office felt that our QB depth was good enough to pass on Sanchez with the no. 2 pick.

Sanchez is looking good right now because he has a top 5 offensive line in front of him, and a top 5 defense on the other side of the ball. He also has two solid running backs to help ease the pressure. No QB has come into a better situation than Mark Sanchez.

If the Rams didn't want to spend money, then why did we spend so much on Jason Brown, who made it clear that he chose St. Louis because of the money? Why did we retain Bartell, who we easily could have let walk?

George Allen would be 0-3 right now if he were the Rams head coach right now. The more I look at this, though, Jim Haslett was put in an impossible situation last season when Linehan was fired. Linehan really dismantled out team.

No he would not. Solly because he would not have taken on being the
Rams head coaching gig. He was smarter then the rest, i guess.

I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not but I will go with not and apologize later if I'm wrong.

I don't see how you can make the argument that our past or current owners are not willing to spend money when you consider the fact we are a coffee and donut away from going over the cap.

You can make the argument we haven't spent the money wisely over the years but there can be no question we are willing spend when we clearly have.

As far as who would take our coaching job?

I would answer a hard noise defensive coordinator that wants a chance to build a team from scratch... and you couldn't have found a team more scratch than us.

Its hard to be optimistic about this team but lets be optimistic

I see your "avitar", and I understand (I think) what you're attempting to get at.

Steven Jackson signed a six year contract last year. I really doubt we're trying to snuff him out. What are you talking about?

For as much as I try to restrain myself these days, I have to say this is close to the most assinine comment I have seen in quite some time.

So what is it you're really trying to say here? Are you saying it's hard for you being a Rams fan right now? If pleasure (ie winning) is truly the child of pain, perhaps you should consider the Rams pregnant at this juncture ... hmmm??
