  • The winnable games left on the schedule

OK the loss to the jags hurt so much I have actually felt sick sense it ended, not kidding.

But lets look ahead. The game i think we have a decent chance of winning for the rest of the season.

Detriot- Stafford might still be sidelined clavin johnson should still be questionable we should win here

seahawks-We can win this game have no doubt, yes they shut us out be we have grown better every week and by the time we play them we should be able to take the win.

titans- No excuse, we win this game. We dont im calling for someone's head.

Games that we could pull a huge upset

saints- coming off the bye week we should have every one healthy and have 2 weeks to study them we have done it before.

both cardinals games- Its divisional play anything can happen

texans- lets be plain texans defense is absolutly horrible we can grab a win here on a good day.

So 7-9? I doubt it but strange things happen in this league

I found out a long time ago that scanning the schedule trying to find out what games are wins and losses doesn't work and it really doesn't matter either, there are to many factors, injuries and weather are two of them, just take it game by game and hope for the best.

We're not beating the Titans. Their defense can strangle our offense, and they have enough offense to overpower our defense late. A lot of those New England points came on big plays that we are utterly incapable of reproducing. Additionally, the Titans have had a BRUTAL schedule to start the year-Pitt, Indy, Jax, Houston, the Jets, and New England.

          7-9?? Are you kidding??

In another thread, people were saying that we had the jags, no question. As it turns out, a team that gets beat 40 - 0 the previous week and showed no enthusiasium until late in the game, they beat us too. We suck, suck, suck...

Even with the awesome SJAX, this is the worst offense I have personally witnessed.

Dude you must be on drugs.

We are probably gonna go 1-15. The Titans may be a bad team, but we're a worse team.

              What do you think?
I like it. Start with a trial by fire, then get a nice homestand after the bye.

I don't like it. A team like this would be better off with an easy start to build momentum.

If the Rams are going to be a substantially improved team, the schedule should not matter much.

              my thoughts on the schedule
              by general counsel
A few general thoughts on the schedule.

              1) No monday night or sunday night games and only one game nationally televised all year. Obviously the networks dont think much of the new and improved verison of the gsot (or maybe they just think that our defense needs Dr. Kevorkian)
              2) Only one cold weather outdoor game, at cincy on dec 9, which is a likley loss anyway
              3) Its CRITICAL that we get off to a strong start. If we struggle early, given the makeup of the schedule, we are going to play our way our of realistic contention
              4) At the end of the day, we could go anywhere from 12-4 to 6-10. This is NOT an easy schedule. If we stay relatively healthy, our offensive line play is solid and our offense scores tds in the red zone, our defense will need only some basic improvement and a pulse and we are going to be going deep into the playoffs.
              5) The divisional games are even more crucial than usual. I think that the road games at sf and arizona are must wins if we want to win the division.
              6) As always, the seattle road game has the most upside on the sked and the seattle home game is a game we must win if we want to win the division (same of course with the home games vs sf and arizona).
              7) The sked doesnt permit us any "bad" losses at home
              8) i like that the bye comes right in the middle and i like that we have cleveland right before the bye. Thats our easiest game of the year and hopefully even if we are tied and a little beat up, we can make it through that game at home with a win and have momentum going into the tough road games coming out of the bye.

At this point, i see us at a minimum 10-6. I appreciate that i am seeing the glass half full and seeing defensive improvement, but what i am really seeing is a dominant offense that is going to make things a lot easier on the defense

7-1 at home (i think the thursday night game vs pitt is a tough one coming off 4 days rest. Winnable for sure, but a tough one). 3-5 on the road, i think we beat arizona, sf and tampa on the road. Hopefully we can also steal a win against one of the tougher teams (cincy, new orleans, dallas, seattle, baltimore)

We have to win the next two games IMO these are huge games... our season in on the line in the next two weeks period. I think we can be 3-4 before we get to our division games, but we have to win next week!

What type of schedule are you hoping for?
              by AvengerRam_old
The NFL schedule is set to be released on April 16, 2013.

What type of schedule do you hope for?

Trial By Fire: Tough games/road games stacked up in early part of the season. If the team can run the guantlet with moderate success, they will be rewarded with a late schedule that allows a sprint to the finish line.

Easing Into Autumn: Easier games/home games in early stage of season. Allow the team to get some wins under its belt and build confidence, with the tough games towards the end of the year.

Getting Over The Hump: A couple of easier games at the start to get off running, and a favorable late schedule for the playoff push. Getting from Halloween to Thanksgiving a bear of a task.

Mixed Bag: Tougher and easier games scattered throughout schedule. No real speed ramps, but no major roadblocks either.

Looking at this year's schedule when do you think the Rams will get their first win?
              by mtah6245
Last year I predicted the Rams would get their one and only victory against Detroit. This year I believe the Rams will get their first victory
week 4 at home against Seattle.
