Re: I Think We Can Pass The "Worst Team In The NFL" Label To...
I don't know if we can even beat the Titans. They went 10 and 0 to begin the season last year. The only impact player that they lost was Haynesworth and how is he working out in DC? I just think that we are in that dreaded rebuilding mode with little cap room to make any improvement...Comment

I think that the title needs to go the the patriots and bellicheat for running up the score AFTER they knew the Titans had no chance of winning....somewhere around 35-0 would have been a place to scale back and quit trying to rub salt in the wounds.

Originally posted by Joshuahow did they start "THIS" Season? that's what counts my friend. last year means nothing.
They went 0-6 against a far tougher schedule than ours with many closer games than ours. This team will punk us.
Today's game was something of an anomaly. Looking at the stat line, it probably resembled last year's Jets game in close detail. Now were the 2008 Rams that putridly bad as the game indicated? No. The same should apply here. The 20 plus points in added margin of victory can be explained by well...Darth Hoodie is a bit of a heel.Last edited by PeoriaRam; -10-18-2009, 11:14 PM.Comment

What? The Titans would whip the Rams. Don't tell me otherwise; I don't care about "having faith in the team" or getting all pseudo logical over this. The Titans have talent on both sides of the ball. They're just having a colossal amount of trouble amalgamating it.Comment

Of the teams without a win, who has the best shot of acomplishing the ultimate record in the NFL, the 0-16 finish, and join the 1976 Buccaneers (0-14) atop the list of the worst teams in NFL history?
The teams left are:
Detroit Lions (0-4)
Tennessee Titans (0-4)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-3)
Oakland Raiders (0-3)

by richtreeOn 12-13-09 Rams @ Titans will determine the future of the franchise. The titans are a dwindling team that has a bad record. If the Rams lose this game there is a good chance that once Tampa Bay and Detroit could have worse records.
The rams would get the number 1 or 2 pick in the draft and probably lock up a franchise QB for 5 years.
Cleveland has to play both Detroit and KC and probably will keep Anderson or Quinn.
Tampa Bay has the worst chance of anyone with their tough schedule. Tampa was 3 Qb's, but you know the old saying, 3 Qb's = NO QB's.
In 2007 , the Rams took Caracter over Beason, Revis, and Bowe.
and 2008 Jake Long was one pick ahead.
The Titans game is a tough game because we can probably win this game and an outside shot at Seattle at home.
2 wins maybe two many.....I think Bulger's arm is shot. He is now Chad Pennington.
We need to lose this game, lol.
If Tampa somehow wins a game by this date maybe Spags can start Keith Noll this game because TB may steal our draft pick.....
It is also very important to get a high second round pick because we can trade our 2nd round pick and a package of picks (since we have two 5th rounders) to potenital move back into the 1st round for a pick in the 20-25 range...
The way I think of it is that the Lions won't take a QB early.
The Browns and KC probably wouldn't either.
The Bucs, Titans, Seahawks, and Oakland may.
Jacksonville won too many games already. Redskins and Raiders still have to play each other. So Rams will pick 1 or 2 again.
Say Hello to a new QB at this spot, like it or not. Its QB, unless there is a DE that is off the charts at the combine.
If Curry couldn't go 2 none of these guys (LB's) can.
So Rams pick 1 or 2 , and its QB, DE, or OL ......Titans game holds our destiny....
we shall see.....-

by Ram DragoonAlot of mention is how the Rams are the worst team in football today. Or that the Rams are not the worst team in football that the distinction still belongs to Detroit...and back and forth the arguement goes.
:helmet:
My money is in the latter arguement then the former, but not for the obvious reasons one might think. Yes the win/loss column doesnt favor the Rams and after all thats what football is all about....STILL:
You have the Red Skins, a team with high profile players, top talent, no serious needs. Then there is the Cowboys, very simular to the Red Skins in having all the pieces in place for a team. On paper both these two teams ought to do well in the 2009 season. But both are struggling and not living up to their potentual.
The Titans, last seasons 13-3 team still stuck in the cellar this season. Again they have the depth the Rams don't have. Jags, have a defense the Rams don't yet they are stuck at the bottem.
So really who is the worst team in the NFL today? The Rams are progressing forward and striving to once again reclaim the NFC-West. Yes woeful in terms of depth, missing a few key parts of the puzzle yet. But what are the excuses for the other teams with a complete roaster of players?
If asked on a street corner who is the worst team in the NFL, I would say the Red Skins followed by the Raiders. The Rams are going somewhere where as these other two teams are stuck in Limbo-

The 3 worst teams last year have at least 2 wins... Rams have 0... Scott Linehan please don't give us a bust with the #1 overall pick in the upcoming draft. LOL
