  • Winnable game against NO? HA! please!

I have heard alot of talk about how we have a very winnable game against our 'best shot" in the New Orleans Saints. Well I have news for you guys. The way we have been playing lately and yesterday especially, we are SO NOT beating them! I TOLD YOU WE WERE GOING 1-15 THIS IS NO JOKE FOLKS ITS GOING TO HAPPEN. and i dont like to talk about my team like that but its the truth. DO you REALLY think we can beat anyone given how pathetic we are on offense and defense? COME ON MY FELLOW RAM FANS ITS GOING TO BE UGLY FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON. and dont feel good about garbage wins near the end because they dont count in my book against teams who have "packed up their weapons" for the playoffs or whatever.

    Hey it worked last week.

I wish it were that easy. The talent level between the Saints and the Lions...and Rams...is HUGE. Sure the Rams could win, but the odds are very very slim I'm afraid.

I am wearing the t-shirt I wore today again. I thought it brought good luck! hah

Also, the past two years, we have beaten the team out of the bye (Saints were one of the two). I'm not saying, I'm just saying. haha

You are in for a surprise! I think the game vs. Seahags is another possible win. Don't think that the Bears are a powerhouse because there is another possibility for a victory.

Although I do believe we have major problems, I seriously think the worst is behind us. Why? Because looks like we will be more committed to the running game. So hopefully with a little defense we can make this season 3-13.

That's the way I see it, even though I would like to get that first pick

we have 2 weeks to prepare. I can't wish bad luck on the saints because they are a classy group of guys and alot of them are on my fantasy team . Saints by far are our toughest competition for the rest of the year. So even if we loose to them it wont be the end of the world with a ton of home games division games.

              lol,

I don't think it works if the thread knows you are just playing.

But coming off a bye week with our heads held high, The New Orleans Drew Brees' better watch out. Their run defense isn't that good and Steven Jackson IS that good.

They messed up by letting Steven Jackson feel the endzone, cuz know that he knows that it ain't that hard, he's gonna want more...and more....

I'm not saying we are definately in for a win against argueably the best team in the league...but it won't be easy.

Honestly i think this is lame.

You shouldnt of copied and pasted the same post and changed a couple words.

The title is fine. But you should of made a whole new one that is similar. Like say we are not going to win because when we force a turnover we give up points on the same play. Or say even if the Saints put 11 men in the box vs. Action Jackson our passing game still wont show up because we would drop passes.

                MAKE A NEW ONE!

This Defense is getting better and if the Offense can get better and healthy during the bye week.....................Saints may be in for a battle.

Seriously though, we are going to be toast against the Saints. It's not gonna be pretty.

But if we do pull off a crazy win I know I'll be posting the "Winnable game against ARI? HA! please!" thread faster than anybody after the game!

Why everyone on this message board fine with our 3-3 record? With confirm with mediocrity? In my profession as a salesmen and a project manager for a construction company I am never settling just because we sold a 2 million job. I always want to fight as hard as I can and make sure I get every job with the highest profit margins. In every aspect of life one should not be happy with settling and saying hey well at least my situation isn't worse. That mantra will leave you wondering what would of . Could of, and should of been...

The rams are playing good overall football I totally agree. Yesterday's game is a microcosm of the settling mindset. The rams our gained in yardage , owned the time of possession, was more physical than the dolphins for the whole game. A play here, one less mental mistake we win that game.

What in tryin to say is that rams as a ball club are pissed and mad they squandered an opportunity to be 4-2. We should too... Never settle guys...

(For those who can remember. This post was started the year we were 0-8 and played the Detroit Lions. That guy posted this and Steven Jackson "Hulked up" and ran like a man escaping from the insane asylum and the Rams had their one and only win of the season, but it's like my good luck post).

The good.......there was very little in the saints game.
                                The bad.........there was alot!!!
                                The Ugly........ditto!!!

I was kind of afraid that the saints were going to pull off a victory. If anyone read my last post which read: Will the saints go marching on. It talks about a possibility of them having our number. For some reason the team plays with added intense due to their coach and team mates being fired up since we have been ex-superbowl winners who have won with bull **** flee flickers and screens and fancy plays. The saints coach seems to think that we are a bunch of crap players with crappy non-football plays.

Truth is, the Rams beat the Rams fair and square!!! We lost the game due to silly penaltys, fumbles, interceptions, costly errors, un-special teams, blown plays and a missed field goal. If we played error free football or at least hanged on to the ball without giving it away with our fumbles and interceptions, we would have won yet as murphy's law plays out so many sundays, it was a game of 'what can go wrong will go wrong' and to think that the Rams are exempt from murphys law is wrong! It was bound to happen and I say good, why?

Well, lets just say that the next time we play the saints on their turf, it will be a different game. We should learn from our mistakes and hopefully on the next meeting, we will be playing with a healthy Faulk, and fumbleless game, a zero interception, a game plan that will have many flee flickers, trick plays so that it will inferiate the saints coach and perhaps a few on side kicks to boot ;-). I think that the Rams have learned a valuable experience of this loss and that if they can bounce back and play with added aggression due to this loss, perhaps this will propel them into the nfc playoffs.

This game against the saints truely was a horror film for the players as well as the fans and we didn't even get to see georgia for her halloween yearly appearance :mask: , darn!!! I believe that we see the saints mid december again. I will hope that we will bring with us a more intense game plan and an error free game in the georgia dome so that it can erase this bad taste that this last game left. And I hope that Martz will remember what the saint's coach said about the Rams and their so called plays so that he can fire up the team to seek revenge. I honestly don't think that the saints coach should be talking smack until he takes his team to the big dance and wins the big one! Rememeber, we walked the walk and can talk the talk since we are a past victorious superbowl team.

We now have a 'bye' week to rest, gather our thoughts and hopefully allow Faulk to return with 100% healed on his knee.
I predict a victory againt Carolina after the return from the bye week yet I will go out on a limb and predict.......no.....wait........
I guarantee a victory (IE: Joe Namath/broadway Joe) against the...
