  • Post Game Locker Room

They showed the Rams' locker room after the game on the OT on Fox and that was one of the happiest I've ever seen a team after a win. It looked like the team really cares about each other and Spags and they all believe in him. After Spags gave a speach McMichael gave a speach with tears of joy in his eyes. I couldn't really hear most of what McMichael said but from what I was able to make out it sounded like he was really grateful to have Spags as a coach and the whole team was really happy for him getting his first NFL win as a head coach. It really made me feel good about the future of this team.

I couldn't find a video of this but I still feel great about our head coach and the direction the team is heading. If you look on any Giants forums they are already really missing Spags.

yeah lets hope this win really pulls the team together and they get that confidence and belief in themselves and the coaches.
i wish we had a more forgiving next opponent though! they may just crush our spirit before we even get it going.

What a game by Jackson, Ive seen QB's single-handedly win games for there team.
But to see a RB do it with 9 in the box was truly remarkable.

            Re: Post Game Locker Room

Fox actually gave the Rams some respect yesterday a few times. In addition to the post game locker room talk, the studio guys congratulated the Rams, and Strahan mentioned what a great guy Spags is and that he's going to do good things. They also all congratulated Chris Long for getting his first sack this year, which obviously had Howie Long beaming with pride.

The game yesterday was a turning point. A loss to one of the worst teams in the NFL could have really broken the spirit of the Rams, but they fought, persevered, and got that win with their backs up against it. The emotion in the locker room after the game tells me this team still has some statements to make.

There's a lot of work to do and more tough times to endure, but I'm extremely proud of our guys right now.

I believe we got that little bit of coverage by Fox because theyv'e seen the effort
in this group, coupled with the terrible luck weve had. Excellent to see this happening.
What a relief to get that monkey of our back, richly deserved. I was begining to think
the worst at 10-10 in the 4th quarter. I was a bit happier last night. Losing to Detroit
going into the bye with N.Orleans to play would have been a depressing time.
Well Done To THe St.Louis Rams, and a special Thank You to big Steven Jackson.
One of the best RB performances Ive ever seen, ever.

I will have to go back and look at what I have taped to see if this got caught. We switched over to the packers vikings game. I would like to see some of this coverage.

Spags is from NY, which is why we are probably getting coverage. NY seems to be quite powerful in the media world.

                  Re: Post Game Locker Room

With that kind of locker room attitude, heads held high, that HUGE monkey off our back, pride, and a winning feeling, I think the rams are about to be a whole new team. First win for our coach, first touchdown of the season for jackson, first Chris Long sack...do you really think they don't wanna do it again?

Now granted, the Saints offense is looking like the Greatest Show on Turf back in 2000 but even the GSOT had a weakness...their defense.

They have yet to play a team with a running back even close to as dangerous as Steven Jackson is. Tonight they play against Micheal Turner, and if they can't stop them then SJ will be a REAL problem for em.

Not saying that we will win or lose, I'm just saying that we just have to go point for point with Drew Brees. Maybe this bye week will get bulger back to where he use to be cuz that was a horrible performance against a horrible defense
