  • Danny Boy

Danny Amendola has been a surprise bright spot in an otherwise bleek situation for the Saint Louis Rams. A pat on the back is well deserved for 'Danny Boy' with his inspired play on kick returns and clutch catches as a wideout. More balls need to be thrown his way for sure!

Danny has shown unbelievable toughness with his ability to bounce back after taking brutal concussion shots, such as the one he suffered against the Lions. Most players would call it a season after such hits, but Danny was back at it today giving the Rams a good chance to win with his play.

Danny Boy, 'LET ME STAND NEXT TO YOUR FIRE!', WISH EVERYBODY HAD IT ON THIS TEAM!

I agree, when we get this turned around he will be our "Wes Welker", he will tear it up in the slot when we get a couple players around him.

Very nice find by Billy D!

I agree we really have some really nice young pieces in the WR core, but they just haven't been healthy and we haven't been together long enough. Amendola, Gibson, Burton, Avery, Robinson all have a load of talent.

I'd like to see what the guy can do after a full offseason and training camp. He has screwed up a few times but that's to be expected from a guy who wasn't at camp. I've been very pleasantly surprised by his play so far. I wouldn't call him Wes Walker just yet but hey, after a full camp, who knows?

I also agree. Amendola has been a great addition and will only get better. How different would things be if all the receivers had his consistency?

Amendola made a nice catch. I was surprised someone on the team had that kinda skill!

Yeah, I'm hitching up to this dudes' bandwagon. Think I'll order one of those fancy customized Rams hoodies with his name on the back. I'm too broke for a legit jersey!

I, too, like Amendola. He is a sparkplug-type whose small stature belies his toughness. He actually is a guy a lot like Billy Devaney was in his playing days back here in Jersey; a tough, undersized competitor who had no fear. Amendola's 4th down catch at the one yard line yesterday epitomized his toughness.

Very good pickup for the Rams.

This guy is a dark horse and easy to like especially when you witness his toughness. I loved the punt return yesterday, nice attitude and guts!

Too bad he did not make that wide open catch in the Saints game. Maybe we would have won that one then.
