Why did the Pats get dominated by the saints...?

Remember a few weeks back, our men in blue and gold clashed with the superpowered saints. The score was 23-28 - a five point deficit. This week, the matchup between the pats and the saints resulted in complete humiliation and domination of the patriots, offensively and defensively.

Ask yourself:
Do the Patriots have a better QB?
Do the Patriots have better WRs?
Do they have a better D Line?
Are they better defensivley?
Basically, are the patriots a better team then us?

Home crowd or not for the saints, the rams showed immense heart, passion, and desire. I do not believe 'the saints played sloppy' as reporters suggested. With faith, anything is possible.

Ask yourself, can we be like the saints in a few years with the coaches (except Shurmur), the potential players, and the foundation being set?

Man I wish I had been able to see that game. Nothing like seeing the arrogant cheating slime getting their butts kicked.

I wonder how the league could allow such an event to happen. Maybe Vegas needed a Cheatriots blowout to be able to break even, or come out ahead.

The Saints obviously took the game against the Rams for granted. This all to often happens even to the best of NFL teams.

No... sorry... the reality is, you can't judge two teams based on the results of two games. I hate to admit it but the Rams are far from the caliber of the Patriots. But, you have to believe this won't be true forever.

The Saints were tired and beat up, and the rams were coming off a win and a bye week. It was a good time to play them.

I think the Saints were motivated for the game against the pats at home and they played inspired football. Some of the best games are on monday night.

The Saints also had a lot of guys out injured when we played them. I'm not sure if they were out against the Pats, but I think that's one of the main reasons that we were so close to beating them.

it's one game, anything can happen in one game we all know that..the fact that we got closer to beating the saints than the pats means nothing.

the Saints CB`s for the majority of the game monday night were McAlistair & McKenzie..both players who have been free agents until after we played them..

i agree with most of the reasons given so far..but i think one that ive not seen is that our secondary played better than the Pats secondary...a lot of the TD`s the Saints scored on were bombs where the coverage was blown apart..that in the whole didnt happen against us.

yep, true.
I do believe there has been alot of improvement of this team. Yes, we lost to the seahags, but i can confidently say, this is a much better football team. We've seen flashes of our potential, and its only going to get better.
