Locker...please. (Or whoever they decide is best, but get a QB).

(Suh would be my #2 however).

"Games are won in the trenches..."

      "It all starts up front..."

Good quotes, and I agree wholeheartedly with them, but...

The closer to the ball, the more important the position.

We yap and yap and yap about all our other problems, and while that's valid, it's amazing how a good QB reduces their significance. Look at the Packers the other nite. Played like crap, (175 yards in penalties alone), but won with what I consider an excellent QB, against a good D.

I like Bulger a lot, and think he's a good QB. Make that was. He flat doesn't have it anymore for whatever reason - mental and/or physical.

The Colts floundered for years, until guess what? Same with Dallas. Same with Arizona. Same with Pittsburgh. Same with the Saints. Same with the Giants. Same with the Chargers. Same with Seattle. Same with the Pats. Same with Denver in reverse.

It starts and ends with the QB, and we need one NOW!

      Just my opinion.

Well, Spags would be the kid to sit there and read his list of wants from the entire year. In this case, a good TE who can catch well, a true #1 WR, a fresh face at the QB position, and a DT.

Santa would reply: "Silly Steve, you can only have one."

Spags would pick, Suh. Nuff said. haha

Whatever it is he better word it carefully.

Last year he asked for a Mickey Mouse outfit and Santa gave him the Rams.

I'm kidding... it's just an old joke I love to tell.

I think he would ask to win out the season. Going into next year with some confidence and support would be the greatest gift of all.

Coach Of The Year Why Not Spags ?

If the Rams finish 8-8 and win the west, then who is more deserving than Spags, I heard on a radio show today that Morris from Tampa was the frontrunner, they have not beat a team with a winning record and still have 7 wins to show for it which tells me they are playing a crappy schedule.to go from 1-15 to 8-8 or better with a rookie QB starting from game 1 I think our guy should get the award, now lets hope we can get to 8-8.

Is Spags getting a fair shake from us?
                                by laram0
I know the majority here want to see Spags fired, myself included.

After taking over the "MESS" that Linehan left this team in. Is it fair to come down so hard on Spags after 3 years? He took us from 1-15 to 7-9 and this season (INJURY PLAGUED) we've fallen back more than 2 giant steps. Are the injury, lockout and tough schedule a good enough excuses to give him 1 more season?

                                Spags worst trait...
                                by FestusRam
Its how he reacts after losses...

I've watched many of the post-game press conferences, and never do i see or hear a sense of urgency from him. I just watched the ***** post game and all he had to say was how the defense played well for awhile. It's just unacceptable.

I don't know how he thinks the "Mr. Positive" attitude going to turn this team around. I understand the fact that he doesn't like to call players out in public, but he needs to be real and explain to us how terrible these team really is.

After yesterdays game, I expected a very ticked off or stressed out Spags. Instead he seemed content and never pointed out any of the many negative points of the game. I used to be pulling for Spags only a few games ago, that has all changed now. At 2-10, you got to light a fire under these players butts.

Look at Miama. Sparano did a complete 180 with his coaching style and they're making a great run. Spags demeanor hasn't changed all season. He just seems much to content with how the teams UNDERperforming.

If you look at all the great teams such as the Pats, Steelers, Saints etc., the coaches hold their team accountable when they play poorly. They hold themselves accountable when they're out coached. Spags does none of this. I'm over it.
