  • That's what I like to see!

A nice competitive game for the Rams, but end up losing. That's all I ask for at this point. We NEED Suh!

Yeah, because the Rams are only one player away from being SB contenders.

In the words of Herm Edwards: "HELLO! You play to win the game!"

Fine. Have fun watching Suh dominate offensive linemen for another team for the next 10 years.

It's what I enjoy. I am not so mad about this loss. Imagine if we had our starters, this would be our game to win!

            The future looks bright guys.

i would never root for our team to lose...suh is very good, but picking him (though i 100% support it) still leaves us short a qb so we'll still have plenty of work to do.

Well, I'd much rather see a competitive, close loss, than a blowout where it's clear that our players gave up.

Because I refuse to support (pay money to) the NFL (I do not have NFLST), I didn't get to see Null play. But based on the game day thread, it sure seems like we may have our QB of the future. Wouldn't it be great if the RAMS could be one of the few teams to pick a low round QB that turns out to be one of the elite? Let's see how Null plays out the rest of the year before we say we will be a QB short.

He could have been a beneficiary of the newly dubbed "Ryan Fitzpatrick effect" wherein late round rookie Ram QBs taken from minor or lower programs look "good" against Houston, and only Houston. It is a strange phenomenon, much like how Linehan coordinators keep getting jobs in the NFL.

I doubt he is the QB of our future.

this is what happens when you lose so much, guys start to accept close losses saying well they kept it close or it's better than a blowout loss,I did it myself a few weeks back with the New Orleans game,I would hope the team is not happy with a close loss and neither should we,but it looks like that is what has become of us.Hopefully our fortunes change soon.

Do you say this because you saw the game, or because we didn't pick him #1, from a top school, and pay him 50+mil/yr for 5 years?

I get the same feel from Null that I got from Warner in 1997. I could be wrong, as I have never seen him play. Of course, I never saw Warner play before 1997 (when he was signed, not actual game time). I just liked what I read about his ability to lead teams to winning seasons.

Don't think for a moment that this orginization dosen't want a win. From the majority owners all the way down to the lowest towel boy wins are needed in the worst way. The city needs it. The league needs it, and we, here on this board need it. It's a death from a thousand cuts.

If I didn't believe this it would be like finding out the game is rigged; or the refs are crooked; or wrestling is fake.............

Also, remember the guy has only had reps with the starters for a couple weeks now. I think we can make him our back up next year and go from there. Give him some more time and reps with the starters.

He has the poise. He looks comfortable. He just needs more time.

I don't care if you draft the top QB in college, unless you give him time, he won't develop.

I don't know about Null. After seeing Sanchez hit Edwards in the hands on that really nice deep post, then seeing Null overthrow Avery by like 4 yards on a fly; I wouldn't mind seeing the Rams spend some money on a guy with 1st/2nd round talent. To be fair though, it is only his 2nd week playing plus lack of reps on offense blah blah blah excuses.
