Steven Jackson fined $5K for Texans scuffle

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson had a little less in the wallet this week for last-minute holiday shopping. Jackson was fined $5,000 by the NFL for his role in a fourth quarter scuffle with Houston Texans safety Bernard Pollard. Pollard also was fined $5,000 by the league.

Also, Texans cornerback Jacques Reeves was fined $5,000 for grabbing the facemask of Danny Amendola at the end of Amendola’s 55-yard kickoff return for the Rams in the second quarter.

I think had no one stopped it, Jackson would be paying for Pollard's 5K hospital bill too

Pollard is lucky he still had his helmet on, or he'd be looking really ugly after that "scuffle".
