Before i go on let me state that i am a huge chris long fan and have always been a huge bulger supporter (in fact i am wearing a bulger jersey right now).

That being said CUT DANNY GORRER NOW.
I realize he is a rookie but he flat out sucked today. I know he was only in there because of injurys and dont blame the coaches for playing him to give him a shot, but he sucked and now its time to say goodbye. Yes only 1 game and a rookie, but wow, just terrible.
Play clinton hart or david roach at nickel for the rest of the year, i dont care.

Don't cut him, just bench him. He's obviously not ready to play in the NFL right now.

why does this guy have more rep power than me? Seriously man let me repeat something that has been stated by many other peopleon this forum. HE IS A PRACTICE SQUAD ROOKIE PLAYING AGAINST THE BEST RECEIVING CORP IN THE GAME. Yes he got beat a few times. And yes he dropped the pick 6. Would your rather he not even jumped the route and got the deflection? You simply dont dont dont judge a guys total ability based off of what 2 games?

I realize he is a rookie but he flat out sucked today.

You may realize he is a rookie but you obviously don't realize that he went up some of the biggest names in football. Kurt warner, Boldin, Fitz, Breaston. These names ringing any bells to you? He also made some very nice plays in the ball, and had a solid outing for a practice squad rookie.

I have more "rep" for a reason. And i never make threads. I made this because he did actually suck that bad. If he had played solid coverege even at justin king level, or tackled well and make some plays in the run game and then dropped the pick i would look at it like the amendola fumble. Dannys a great player and simply made a mistake, looks to have a promising future however. Danny gorrer sucks however, nothing against him personally but play roach at nickel and get gorrer back on the street he doesnt belong in the nfl.

there is also a reason why i make no complaints against bartell, wade, fletcher, king, all of these guys have shown promise, and i have no doubt gorrer will get playing time against the niners, but IS ANYONE WILLING TO BET GORRER WILL BE ON THE ROSTER NEXT YEAR? if not, you can make all the excusses you want, but he still doesnt belong in the nfl.

I'm pretty sure that Kent will be on the roster, he's been a fine special teams player. Roach will probably have another battle to make the 53-man roster. Reilly was signed to be a third-string next year and an emergency third-string this year. His signing was pretty much for next year . Darby will probably be on next year too.

We already have to many Wr's coming off Injuries for kent to have a spot next year, he might make the practice squad. Roach will not be on the roster, nothing more to say about that. Reiley was signed because it is nice to have 3 qb's on the roster and bulger is on IR. Darby will be on practice squad at best next year, he has never really produced, we will look elsewhere.

The only reason we are seeing him know is because of injuries.

If everyone had stayed healthy you would have never heard his name.

He came from the practice squad and will be headed back there when we are back to full strength.

This isn't meant to support your push to get him cut... it is meant to prove your passion over this is just a bit silly.

what anger? lol can we please keep in mind we are all typing, not yelling, not talking. I have many other things to be angry over than danny gorrer.

Hes a practice squad guy going against the cards, fine. every other DB for the rams that game was a young player going against them.
THERES A REASON KURT THREW AT GORRER EVERYTIME HE STEPPED ON THE FIELD.

Good game by bartell, king, and dahl (minus a few plays for dahl).

Gorrer is a practice squad guy who was called up and flat out sucked. Time to cut him.

And the laughing at the end of the game was sickening i dont know how anyone can defend this scrub.

I understand that, and boy do i miss fletcher. My passion is stemming from it seemed after every play i was yelling what the hell gorrer!! haha and i know that i am not alone in that. Play anybody else but this scrub.
