I'm a fan of the HBO series "Hard Knocks" and always try to watch when i get the chance. Last time they had the Bengals and before that the Chiefs. They tend to have younger, rebuilding teams slated to appear on the show and the Rams fit that bill. Our training camp should be very exciting with all the big names we're likely to have in. That being said, should the Rams be picked to have their own Hard Knocks?

Re: Should the Rams get a Hardknock Series?
I'd like it but HBO wouldn't. The ratings would probably be way down because nobody cares about the Rams. For last year's Hardknocks, the Bengals team had a lot of characters on it and had a promising finish to the previous season. They also had Chad Ochocinco. Maybe if the Rams finish strong next season and draft a QB in the first round of the 2011 draft and there is an NFL season in 2011 then the Rams could be the Hardknocks team for the 2011 season.

So people care about the Kansas City Chiefs? who were also on hard knocks. The Rams have arguably the best back in the league coming off some offseason drama, building a young promising potential with the ghosts of the greatest show on turf of their past. People will definitely watch it because there's just as much to talk about as practically any other team with all the high round, big name draft picks we're going to acquire (suh or bradford, best or weatherspoon, etc.).

I didn't catch the Chiefs season (didn't know it even existed) but recent trends seem to indicate they're trying to take teams with personalities "more fitting" for television. (Cowboys=T.O, Bengals=Ochocinco).
Plus, I'm not so sure our new FO would allow this kind of access. I think it would drive Bernie to hard drugs if it happened.

Re: Should the Rams get a Hardknock Series?
People on this board would love it, but who else would? We really don't have any characters like Ocho Cinco or TO. We dont have a crazy story line no drama what so ever. Im not really a Vick guy, but thats the only way Hard Knocks would consider us.
