  • Where do our RAMS belong?

In another thread in the Rams Talk forum titled "Diversity, money are key issues with Khan's RAMS bid". RamsFanSam responded with his 4 items of concern. (#2- Will Khan keep the team where it belongs in St. Louis?)
This jumped out at me because I'm an old school RAMS fan and still believe our team belongs in L.A..

I know a very large percentage of us would remain RAMS fans no matter where they called home. However where do they belong? St. Louis or Los Angeles?

whenever I think about the Rams coming back to LA I remember what Paul Rodriguez said in one of his skids. He said, "The Rams are like a man's ex-wife, didn't appreciate her when she was here, now that she is gone wish she'd come back."

at any rate moot point, whatever happens happens we have no control. best thing to say is Go Rams wherever they are and going!

If a team won their division seven straight times, that would be a NFL record. Now add on that team did it with seven different QB's in seven straight years, that record is unbeatable. To do that feat, you must of had a great Defense. Jack Youngblood was the captain of that defense.

St Louis is their home now, I used to hear TV people make the mistake of callin them the LA rams but I haven't heard that in a decade now. Not tryin to ruffle any feathers but in another 10-15 years the 'LA' Rams will be about as relevant (in public consciousness, not history) as the 'Cleveland' Rams were 16 years ago.

After the Khan news, Bernie said in his forum at Stltoday that Chip/Lucia had the opportunity to sell to an LA group (Roski, I would guess) very early on but turned them away right after they were approached. They've spoken publicly about wanting the Rams to remain in St Louis and that it was a criteria any prospective owner had to have. Chip especially has made public statements about being dead-set against selling them to anyone who would move them to Los Angeles especially.

The Rams would be so much better off in my mind getting out of St. louis and coming back to L.A. As a californian Rams fan it makes me sick to watch the home games in STL the fans are worthless, through the tv you could here a pin drop. Not to mention the out of date music they play during and before games. How they come onto field in the dark with smoke blowing it reminds me of a NBA game. It is the stupidest thing iv'e ever seen. RAMS get out of that middleaged baseball town and come back to your home, Hurry up and sell the team Chip, the sooner it happens the better. ST. LOUIS SUCKS !!!!!!

And that's sad, 'cuz after losing the Cards they should.

I took so much crap in Northern California through the 80's & 90's from a bunch of bandwagon Niner fans, but I stood by my team no matter what. I went to LA & SF to watch my team get smoked.

And it was a sad day when that ***** took my team from Cali. But the move allowed the Rams to make money & actualy TRY to put together a team. ST Louis fans supported the lousy Rams because they were excited to have the NFL back in town. They grew in numbers when Warner & Faulk led the Rams to the title.

And now less than a decade later ST Louis fans have shown me 2 things.

                                1. They are no better than Niner fans. Bandwagon fans suck!

                                2. Why the Cards left in the first place.

All you fans in ST Louis better remember & realise 2 things.....

                                1. LA lost the Rams & that city has a lot more going for it.

                                2. How did it feel when the Cards left town?

                                Wise up ST Louis fans.............
For better or worse, you'd better support your team. The ONLY person in power who gave a damn about being in ST Louis is dead & there are many Cities who would pay for the honor of having a NFL team.
