  • Rams open preseason at home against Vikings, no Governer's Cup

Whether quarterback Brett Favre is on the visiting team’s sideline remains to be seen, but the St. Louis Rams open the 2010 preseason against Minnesota at the Edward Jones Dome. The exact dates and times are to be determined, but the game will be played sometime between Aug. 12-16.
The rest of the Rams’ preseason scedule features AFC opponents, but for the first time since 2000 no Governor’s Cup game against Kansas City:

_ Rams at Cleveland (Aug. 19-23).

_ Rams at New England (Aug. 26-29).

_ Baltimore at Rams (Sept. 2-3).
Obviously, this year there is no Governer's Cup against Kansas City as the Rams host the Chiefs during the regular season. The Rams regular season opponants are as follows:

Home: Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco *****, Seattle Seahawks, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Washington Redskins, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers

Away: Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco *****, Seattle Seahawks, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders

Hey, we're going to win 8 games this year, I can feel it! I just wish we had a few more of the scrub teams at home instead of on the road.

I agree I think we had a brutal schedule last year and we can really step it up this year. Our opponents are going to be tough but not unbeatable and we CAN win 8 games

Wish the Chargers game was in San Diego, last time I've been to a Rams game was against Oakland and we destroyed them 20-0. I'm surprised I didn't get stabbed because I was wearing my Rams jersey there. Might as well go back there again. ;)

Easier than last year. Definitely not looking forward to the San Diego game. Too many of my friends are from Cali.

much easier schedule..we'll see how the other nfc west teams improve, but with a good draft we could actually have a solid year with this schedule, similar to miami a couple of years ago.

Well...I remember a 1998 season with dim prospects for 1999....Rams thought they had something--and poof, Trent goes down and Kurt who is QB....

If the Rams turn it around in 2010...it wouldnt be because of its offense...but there is a glimmer of hope with the Defense

Seven of those non divisional games are certainly winnable; panthers, chiefs, skins, lions, raiders, bucs, and possible even broncos. Cardinals and Seachickens have certainly seen better days, so yeah, I can drink the beer in the shower with ya too I suppose... well different showers of course, er, I was talking about drinking the beer together, not the shower, dangit- quick do something manly!

Only problem is I think the ***** could put a ten win team together this year, as much as it kills me to say. So does 8-8 make it in the wildcard? I don't know, but I do know if we go 8-8 all of the fire devaney and even spags chatter better not be on these boards.
