well why not go here and have some fun

Welcome to Fall of Nations, a browser-based game of strategy, guile, and determination. As a newcomer to the game, to call your forces an army is a great injustice. You have no soldiers, few resources, and no authority in the universe of Fall of Nations. Your mission is to mend a reputation as a powerful figure in the game by amounting soldiers, collecting resources, and slaying all those who oppose you. Dare you be an arrogant and ambitious leader, let your mission be to become the most powerful figure in Fall of Nations.

I have never played an online game before and this is great fun. and its free

Yeah, it was. But I did find out something....without the Rams game today, my kitchen, living room, and bedroom are all clean now. Not only did we do some needed cleaning (transformed from the style of 'late 20th century clutter with a variation of mess by 4-year-old' to 'post-apcolyptic clutter without influence of afore-mentioned 4-year-old'...) but I had my son help me carry in a 400-pound oak credenza into the master bedroom. I figure it will work great as a dresser (with enough room for a lot of me & mama's clothes), but with the lighted display area, I now have room for more Rams stuff. Time to hunt down more Rams memorabilia....

like making smores with cardboard, tofu, & baking chocolate.

So I'm in church Sunday morning and the last amen is has just come from the pulpit. I grab the baby with one arm, the wife with the other and start racing out the door. Then it hit me...the Rams aren't on today. No need to rush, nothing to run home to. We stuck around, talked to friends I hadn't seen since preseason, went out for lunch and casually meandered home to see the last quarter of the Pats-Hawks game.

It was nice taking my time getting home, but I'd still rather be watching my Rams at 12:01pm CST on a Sunday afternoon.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

            by RealRam
Alright Rambeaus and Rambinas, as we've all noticed -- sort of, ey? ;) -- we're smack in the middle of OFF SEASON. No kidding.

The threads are, well, mostly and r-e-a-l-l-y off NFL rapport and topic. But I'm not complaining! This is one of the portals I most enjoy anywhere in the Internet (consider the millions of sites).

THIS IS RAM COUNTRY. And proud of it. :helmet:

For each and every Gearhead, SPEED Channel / HorsePower enthusiast and car collector / car crazy person that either, a. loses sleep over a car, b. is working on one or c. just downright hates and despises a particular automobile, let's hear it!

Yours truly? Well *ehem, ehem*... :smug:

Next in line for this project: a new Strange Engineering D60 complete rearend unit, 4:10 gears.

Cars I despise with a passion (no offense, please): Hyundai, Mitsubishi, DaeWood, Izusu, Honda, Nissan, Suzuki, Lexus, Infiniti, Acura, Toyota, KIA.

Cars I am seriously fond of: Performance GM from late 60s-1972 including an '87 Grand National GNX; Stock Buicks from 50s-70s, 95 to date, and the like. ...Tiger Woods is my buddy.

            13s, 12s, 11s on a Quarter mile would be S'WEET! Vrrrrooooom!

Tell us of your dreams or nightmares on wheels. It's the off season...

            Hurling? Same as Curling?
            by txramsfan
Educate this Yank. What the heck is Hurling? I went to and found a sport you could bet on in the UK called Hurling. I had to laugh, due to what hurling means in Texas. :o

I will be at the Rams vs Shehawks game October 21. I arrive in Seattle on Saturday at 9 AM. I'm staying at the Holiday Inn at the Seattle/Tacoma International Airport. I'll be there until Monday morning. Private message me if you're going and I'll give you my cell number to hook up.
