  • Rams sign Antuan Edwards!

Not a bad pick up. Price is right and Edwards has had some success previously with the Packers before running into trouble this year with the Dolphins.

Well, he certainly couldn't be any worse than Lassiter or Lucas back there. May as well give him a shot, although I'm far from convinced he'll work out. Hope he proves me wrong.

Rams and the Falcons were the ONLY teams to put a request for him, and since the Rams have the worst record they got him

Does this put the brake on Brake's career?

From the Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel:

                  More on Edwards

The Dolphins' decision to waive starting free safety Antuan Edwards on Wednesday was discussed for several weeks because of concerns about how he would react to a demotion, a source said. Edwards, who was claimed Thursday by St. Louis, had struggled the past two weeks because of a groin injury.

"How can you make a projection like that when you don't know?" Edwards' agent, Brian Levy, said. "[Edwards] was not guaranteed a starting job when he signed and didn't complain. If that's how they want to go with this, so be it."

He was a first round pick of the Packers in 1999. Was a starter there but had some problems staying healthy. The Dolphins signed him this offseason as a free agent after deciding not to resign Brock Marion.

So he's had consistent injury problems? Sounds right up our alley!

He is a model of health compared to zach bronson and jason sehorn, and of course, a major upgrade over the most recent member of the rams bullfighting team, also known as the master of the Matador defense, Kwame, el stiffo, lassiter.

You know, at this point, our secondary is nothing but one big experiment. I'd say this is the best time to try to rejuvenate what could still turn out to be a very successful career. Welcome aboard, Mr. Edwards.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
