Game Day Good Luck Superstitions....

    Game Day Good Luck Superstitions....

    I am wanting to find out everyone's game day "Good Luck" superstitions. As I am typing this, mama is getting out the Rams Gear (each one of us is required to either an NFL licensed Rams product, or navy blue and gold during a game). Here in the RF home, we have several rituals that we practice whenever the Rams play....our own way to help our guys win. Here's ours:

    1. Everyone in the house has to be wearing the above mentioned "Rams Wear".
    2. I need my "lucky jeans"...an old pair of worn-out jeans with big rips and holes in them....something you probably wouldn't wear in public...
    3. The first beer is opened only after the first good play by the Rams.
    4. Sami has to have her pom-poms so she can cheer on her team.
    5. This week, I started a new one - picking the Rams to lose in a game they need to win. (hey, it didn't work when I picked the guys to win....if Martz changes something, can't I? And my change isn't any more extravagant than what Mad Mike is proposing....lol)

    Got the same RF. :king:

    Wearing my LA RAMS T under my Jackson jersey.
    Got my RAMS socks on.
    Wearing my navy blue Rams cap with the Ram head on the front.
    Had my traditional Bloody Mary for breakfast.
    And now I'm listening to my RAMS GAMEDAY MIX; A collection of Van Halen and Led Zeppelin to get me FIRED UP! :tough:

              I have no good luck charms. I thought it was my lucky shirt and Faulk jersey but since I was at work for the first quarter I wasn't wearing them...

              Wait, does this mean I have to work during every game now?

                  Will luck hold out for Rams?

                  The Rams have looked like a good team recently, earning quite a bit of respect in the process. They are playing well on both sides of the ball and even pretty good on special teams.

                  As much adversity as the Rams have faced this year with injuries, Martz and all the other dips in the roller coaster ride that is the Rams, it's a testament to this team that they were able to win their first playoff game today.

                  I think that lady luck has been especially kind to the team over the last three weeks and hope that it will continue next week, most likely against Philly. Heck, if things keep going this way, Minnesota will beat Green Bay tomorrow and the Rams will play Atlanta, which I think is a more winnable game than Philly.

                  The Rams have been recipients of:
                  -Philly resting most of their starters in a week 16 game!
                  -Bulger's injury not being as serious as a throwing shoulder could be.
                  -Brien missing the fg to keep the Rams alive.
                  -Getting help from Carolina
                  -Engram dropping a sure td that was in his hands to end the game today.

                  This year, it's probably better to be lucky than good and the Rams have had the hot hand the past three weeks. Just two more and we'll be the worst (8-8) good team ever! Actually, I think the Rams already hold that honor at 9-7 with some other teams. This reminds me of the Lakers of the last few years. Play just good enough to get in to the dance, and then do some damage.

                  Here's hoping we win but also looking forward to a great game with no injuries for either team.

                  Seahawk fans know how important this game is and I know you guys feel the same way.

                  If we can keep Shaun out of the mens room it should be a fun game to watch

                  I would like to wish the Rams good luck today. I am a Jaguar fan who was very good friends with Rammiegirl (Denise Porter). As I sit at the game today my thoughts will be with Denise and I will be thinking about how much she loved this message board and her love for her team. We miss you Denise.
