  • What Gives?

I just watched Spags MONDAY press conference. It's 15 minutes and 41 seconds long. Approx 10 minutes of it is going over the new injuries. Also some questions about the Whiner game but nothing JUICY!

What's up with these reporters at the press conferences? When are they going to start asking Spags the tough questions? Example: Why do we continue to lose? What the heck is going on with our team? Everyone is sick and tired of getting embarrassed. We are OFER against our division opponents that being the NFC WEST.

It's time to wipe the smirk/smile off of Spags face.

When a head coach takes 10 mins to go over the injuries asking him why he continue to lose seems like a no brainier.

We lost our entire secondary, three of our starters on the offensive line are on IR, starting RB missed time early in the year, starting QB is missing games we may have to start our third string QB which we just signed due to our back up QB just went down. I know the name of our Trainer "Reggie". I have never heard the trainer name mentioned so many times in a season.

I get more pissed as Spags talking about how well his defense looked for half the game until they gave up that one play. He never addresses how bad the offense looks.

The only thing Spags is doing right is protecting Bradford future by not playing him, at the risk of losding his job.

I absolutely cannot wait for Spags to be canned. I would'nt wish one of his press conference's on my worst enemy. Win, lose or draw. Its the same old verbal diarrhea every week. Scripted if you ask me, or close to it. It's no wonder he cannot get through to his players, their probably bored stiff.?
Spags doesn't have the natural charisma or brainpower to be a good head coach. If the game was being played by robots, then things may be different.?

I still say the tough questions need to be asked of him. The situation with the injuries is what it is. Where's our depth....I know injured!

....Imagine if Spags was the head coach in Dallas, NY, or Philly.

YIKES.... He's lucky he is in a soft media market.

Coach Of The Year Why Not Spags ?
            by jkramsfan
If the Rams finish 8-8 and win the west, then who is more deserving than Spags, I heard on a radio show today that Morris from Tampa was the frontrunner, they have not beat a team with a winning record and still have 7 wins to show for it which tells me they are playing a crappy schedule.to go from 1-15 to 8-8 or better with a rookie QB starting from game 1 I think our guy should get the award, now lets hope we can get to 8-8.

Is Spags getting a fair shake from us?
            by laram0
I know the majority here want to see Spags fired, myself included.

After taking over the "MESS" that Linehan left this team in. Is it fair to come down so hard on Spags after 3 years? He took us from 1-15 to 7-9 and this season (INJURY PLAGUED) we've fallen back more than 2 giant steps. Are the injury, lockout and tough schedule a good enough excuses to give him 1 more season?

The Final Nail in Spags' Coffin...
            by NJ Ramsfan1
...will be allowing Mike Shurmur and the Browns to beat them next week. If he isn't officially on the hot seat yet in the eyes of management, he surely will be then. 9-31 record. We fix one problem, another one appears. We improve in one area, another falters. Conservative, unimaginitive playcalling. Poor execution. Mistakes at the worst possible time. An inability to make adjustments and hold a lead after halftime. It's just not working. I was behind Spags' hiring, but it is looking more and more like it is one big mistake and a bad fit.

            Spags worst trait...
            by FestusRam
Its how he reacts after losses...

I've watched many of the post-game press conferences, and never do i see or hear a sense of urgency from him. I just watched the ***** post game and all he had to say was how the defense played well for awhile. It's just unacceptable.

I don't know how he thinks the "Mr. Positive" attitude going to turn this team around. I understand the fact that he doesn't like to call players out in public, but he needs to be real and explain to us how terrible these team really is.

After yesterdays game, I expected a very ticked off or stressed out Spags. Instead he seemed content and never pointed out any of the many negative points of the game. I used to be pulling for Spags only a few games ago, that has all changed now. At 2-10, you got to light a fire under these players butts.

Look at Miama. Sparano did a complete 180 with his coaching style and they're making a great run. Spags demeanor hasn't changed all season. He just seems much to content with how the teams UNDERperforming.

If you look at all the great teams such as the Pats, Steelers, Saints etc., the coaches hold their team accountable when they play poorly. They hold themselves accountable when they're out coached. Spags does none of this. I'm over it.

            Spags and his coaching staff....
            by laram0
After being manhandled at home (no less) by the KC Chiefs in the biggest (playoff implications) game of the season. Spags and his staff have a very tough challenge in front of them. Has the air been let out of our teams balloon?
Will they bounce back against the hated Whiners? Because of the rivalry our RAMS have with the Whiners this game will be under the microscope like no other this season.

Spags and his staff need to make alot of changes. The pressure is on our offense. We have to stay on the field longer when possessing the ball. The rest of the league has caught onto the Bradford train and how to slow it down.

            ONE WORD:

            ADJUSTMENTS!!!!!

            GO RAMS!!!!
