Does anyone know what the record is for tackles by a kicker in an nfl season? I think that Money is going to break the record if he has not done so already. For sure, he is the best tackler on the kickoff coverage team.

Certainly a team should loathe a stat like this. Boy if it doesn't tell you something I do not know what will.

Wonder who will replace Wilkins when he gets injured from having to constantly use his skill as the last line of defense on the kick coverage unit?

Wilkins won't need replaced because he won't be injured. Rumor has it Martz has him hitting the weights to see if he is the answer at middle linebacker.

Boy, is THIS gonna take some research. The NFL does not keep a record of special teams tackles made by kickers, at least it didn't as of December 2003, according to an article I found. Here is a link to it:
