DO you thing that Martz WILL pull the plug on this guy?????? or do you reckon Shaw will have to step into the fold....this is just killing me guys??? this bloke is just a JOKE....
Our defense was getting bad late in the year last year. We were letting all sorts of RB's make history. Shoot, DeShaun Foster had an all-pro game against the Rams D in last years playoff game.
So, is it REALLY Marmie? Or is it the personnel Lovie put into play?

Think about it.
But Tx, it is the same defense that held 6 different teams to under 100 yards of rushing. They're not great, but they were better last year. Several posters have pointed to how the defense was getting worse last year at the end of the season. The Detroit and Carolina games are brought up of how this isn't Marmie's fault, but just the talentless D. In those two games, that are pointed to as defensive meltdowns, the D gave up 4.7 yards per carry. They are averaging 5.1 yards per carry this year. So to answer your question, yes, that points to Marmie being the problem. We worse now than we were at our low point last year.
The difference is obvious. It's the turnovers. That's no secret, and who's fault is the dropoff? This D averaged 2.9 per game last year and .9 this year. When we get 2 less TOs per game, this is the result.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
