              Re: What A Game

I'm still sky high.....celebrating with my kids.

What a great ending...I had to put up with watching another meaningless game from the Eagles....it was the only one on TV...but they switched it over after the Eagles game ended and I got to watch the OT.

              Go Atlanta!

                A win, a Win, a WIN!!!!

This was an exciting game. Just when I thought we had it in the bag, the Jets came up with some big plays and made it a real game.

Good job D for staying in there for so long. They must be tired.

A win in overtime is so nice.

                    RamDez says ...............
                    by RamDez
It’s that time of the year, the Scotsman dusts of his crystal ball, gives it a good rub and looks deap into the 2006 season mist.

Season opener: Denver Broncos. The Rams will come out of the gate strong in the 2006 season opener , viewed in person by the ClanRam Warriors. The Broncos will trip early. Rams Win.
                    1-0
Week 2: @ the whiners. Once again the Rams will go into this game as favourites and on paper, they should put this one to bed early. And with the backing of ClanRam members, it’s a Rams Win.
                    2-0
Week3: @ the cards. This will be a tough game. The Rams and Cards are matched and this could go either way. I call cards win.
                    2-1
Week 4: Mad Mike comes back to his old home and puts the hurt on the Rams, big style. But guess what. We now have Jim Haslett in the Blue & Gold and you know how Haslett and Martz get on. This will be a battle of the coordinators. Rams Win.
                    3-1
Week 5: @ the pack. The Rams get a break and get the pack early. This is a game that will set the Rams on the road to a playoff spot. Rams win.
                    4-1
Week 6: Hawks come knocking and show why they are the division champs. Hawks win.
                    4-2

                    Bye week.

Week 7: @ Chargers. This will be one hell of a tough game. Bolts are tough at home and this will continue to be the case. Bolts win.
                    4-3
Week 8: Chiefs chop their way into the Ed and find out that this is NO pre season game. Rams show their metal and show that they do have a running game. Rams win.
                    5-3
Week 9: @ hawks. Tough time for our Rams as we go into a very hard game at Seattle. Rams come out with a loss. Hawks win.
                    5-4
Week 10: @ panthers. Hey, two weeks in a row, away from home, Rams find a chink in the cats armour and put the game in the bag. Ram win.
                    6-4
Week 11: Rams come home to find the whiners hiding in the Ed. Rams flush them out and send them whining their way home. Ram win.
                    7-4
Week 12: Rams get a second home game and begin to find their form. Rams come up against a Card team looking to blank the Rams but guess what. Rams win.
                    8-4
Week 13: Rams are sitting pretty in the Ed with a third home game. Fans expect a win, Bears expect a win. RamDez is telling you this baby will be a hard battle. Rams come out bloody but Winners.
                    9-4
Week 14: @Raiders. Rams on a 4 week winning streak. It come screeching to a halt as the Raiders stomp on the Rams. Black & Silver beats Blue & Gold.
                    9-5
Week 15: The Skins come into the Ed and limp out squint. Ram win
                    10-5
Week 16: The rams end the regular season on the road @ the Vikings. Welcome home Linehan .... Viking win
                    10-6

Well there you go, 10-6 and the chance of a playoff spot for the 2006 St Louis Rams.

To many holes to fill. If healthy the following could give us a decent season IMO.
                    by RamsSB99
Assuming we have an uncapped year here are the unrestricted free agents I would like to see the Rams go after.

                    Unrestricted Free Agents:
                    Leigh Bodden CB 6'1 195
                    Ben Watson TE 6'3 255
Julius Peppers DE 6'7 283 (If we don't trade for Umenyiora the cheaper less commitment option)

                    Draft:
                    RD 1: Ndamukong Suh 6'4 305 DT (Would help entire defense DE's, LB's & DB's)
RD 2: Sean Witherspoon 6'1 241 LB (Need another quality LB to go with J. Lau)
RD 3: Danario Alexander 6'5 216 WR (big WR slowed early in career by injury)
RD 4: Trade for Osi Umenyiora 6'3 261 DE (good at applying pressure)

Resign the following restricted free agents:
                    O.J. Atogwe 5'11 210 28 FS (resign)
Alex Barron 6'7 315 27 OT (value sign)
Clifton Ryan 6’3 316 26 DT (value sign)

                    David Vobora 6’1 238 23 (value sign)

Although I am not a big Bulger fan I would not mind keeping him one more year if we could address several other areas of concern. Bulger can be serviceable and its not like we are going from a 1 win team to the Superbowl in one year. Laurent Robinson looked like he might be our best WR prior to going down last year. If he returns healthy and we get Danario Alexander a big WR who had an outstanding college year (more then a TD per game and nearly 130 yards per game) then we might have a decent WR core to go along with Jacksons running game.

Here would be our starters with the additions mentioned:

                    Defense:
                    DE – Chris Long 6'3 265 24
                    DT – Ndamukong Suh 6’4 305 (Draft Round 1)
DT- Clifton Ryan 6’3 316 26 (Resign RFA)
DE – Osi Umenyora 6’3 261 29 (Trade 4th round pick) OR Julius Peppers

                    SLB –David Vobora 6’1 238 23(Resign RFA)
                    MLB – James Laurinatis 6’2 245 23
                    WLB – Sean Witherspoon 6’1 241 (Draft Round 2)

                    CB – Ron Bartell 6'1 210 27
                    CB – Leigh Bodden 6’1 193 28 (Sign UFA)
                    FS – O.J. Atogwe 5'11 210 28 (Resign RFA)
                    SS – James Butler 6’3 215 27

                    Offense:
                    QB – Marc Bulger
                    RB – Steven Jackson 6'2 235 26
                    FB – Mike Karney 5’11 260 28
                    TE – Ben Watson 6’3 255 29
                    (Sign UFA)
                    WR – Laurent Robinson 6’2 195 24, Brandon Gibson 6’1 205 22
                    WR – Donnie Avery 5'11 185 25, Danario Alexander 6’5 216 (Round 3)
                    LT – Jason Smith 6’5 305 23
                    LG – Jacob Bell 6'4 295 28
                    C – Jason Brown 6'3 320 26
                    RG – John Greco 6'4 315 24,Adam Goldberg 6’7 320 29
                    RT - Alex Barron 6'7 315 27 (Resign RFA)
