Ok you can mention Dickerson, Warner, Faulk, Bruce and I won't argue with you. But the guy I liked to watch was David Hill who played TE in the early/ mid 80's
My all-time favorite o-players are Eric Dickerson and Jim Everett, with Bruce and Holt gaining points season after season.
But a player i'll always love is WR Drew Hill, basically because he wore #87, the same jersey number i wore when i began to play football in a Rams uniform

Bruce and Holt are moving into my top position as well. What a fun group of recievers we have to watch. I think St. Paul and Winn are going to fit in well with Proehl leaving us after this year. I also think Bruce has only a couple years left as well.
I really don't think Bruce will put in more that 2 more years. I think the same for Faulk. What else do these 2 players have to play for especially after this season when we win another Super Bowl.
"for the love of the game." that's why they'll continue.
MF and IB are at the tops of their games, they'll play for a while.
Both will be in the HOF no doubt...footballs in their blood since they were kids...padding their stats couldn't hurt, besides what's better than a Super Bowl Ring????.......
he was a wonderful runner, I'm just a little bit sad in that I liked to watch the guys that made the holes for him to run through. Without Slater , Harrah , Hill, Bain , Pankey and Hill he would still have been a great RB but maybe his numbers wouldn't have been quite so good. certainly those that followed him, like Greg Bell and Charles White would not have been 1000 yard RB's without that offensive line .
I think the current line have the possiblity of being mentioned in the same breath as the greats of theearly 80's, certainly Pace and Timmerman are Pro Bowlers but Nutten may be the best guard we have and maybe even one of the best in the league. Amazing what a few weeks in Amsterdam will do for you
How do they glue that stuff down so it won't kick up into their eyes? Didn't like seeing Faulk suffering the effects of that. Maybe they'll all have to get clear visors for their home games and games at Seattle.
The rubber granules are part of the shock pad which stops your knees grinding when you play on turf. Without them or the pad under the turf it would be like playing on concrete ( or Veterans Stadium )
They put different levels of shock pad down depending on what sport is going to be played on the surface and whether they want bounce or not .
If that is the surface the Rams are playing on they will need to take some protective action, it's a great surface for the likes of tennis but not so good if your face is getting rubbed in it

I was at this game last year and had a chance to take a look at this new stuff and take to Todd Hewitt (the Ram equipment Manager) about it.
It is a loose rubber granuels that is covered by layers of turf. The players love it, and thats why they are talking about putting it down in the dome.
It is not the same stuff as Dod is talking about. It was brand new when the Rams played on it. It does bed down. But it will kick up if landed heavily apon it but hey, same thing if you land on grass.

Bruce has two more campaigns in him, then I think he'll turn the reigns over to Holt, Bennett and whatever wideout we pick up next draft. My prediction, 2nd round, unless a top one falls to us at 32. :-)
