  • Marshall Block

A disclosure: I was an offensive lineman in high school, so I like sound blocking, running the ball, and short passes.

That said, I've got to give a game ball to #28 for the huge block he made in the drive that ended in Hodgins' TD. He picked up Malloy's blitz better than most big backs in the NFL (Ricky Williams, are you listening?).

We all know what Marshall does running and receiving; I wanted to point out the little things he does that helps the team win. Good job, #28, and keep it up.

I'd love to see him jack fata** Warren Sapp on MNF next week. Anything to shut that joker up.

Marshall is a great blocker but you picked a bad week to pick Ricky Williams name out of a hat, he blocked Burriss all the way from the numbers near the middle of the field... out of bounds, and then drilled him to the carpet on one of Horn's catches ..... on another long gain, he got in front of Horn and knocked 4 guys down ........ it was impressive.
Not to be outdone he knocked Colts DT Elliss Johnson unconcious from a body blow on a block( yes a DT ),and Elliss never returned.

Yes, I saw RW get leveled by Farrior, just like Faulk got leveled by Mitchell in last years playoff game.

These 2 guys are some of the best blockers in the league, remeber RW was a FB for 2 years at UT, and a good one. If your looking for a big guy that can't block, look at Bettis, or A.Thomas, but it was a VERY bad week to bring up RW, he was nothing short of dominant bloacking this week, ask the Colts ......

I know what your saying,Faulk is a GREAT blocker, and the most complete back in the game....... just pick a better target, I mean in that same Jets game the TD to Horn doesn't happen without RW picking up Farrior on the blitz early ......
