Anyone else see Faulk's comments on Sapp's tackle where he basically picked him up and slammed him into the ground. Faulk said it was basically cheap and no player should pick another player up and slam him into the turf. I agree to some aspects, but then again it's football. I was just shocked to see Faulk say anything about it.

I didn't know he said anything about it. Sounds to me like whinning. The Bucs have sucked all year and might not make the playoffs. The Rams are a sure thing to go....I feel no pitty for him. He plays great and has been a lot luckier then most RBs in the "hit" department. Because of his skills, he doesn't usually take hits like that. But, it's football for Christ's sake!! Shut up and don't get hit next week. :king: -
A friendly reminder to non Ram fans.
If you want to smack, there is a forum for that. I know, you (Atlas ) don't normally smack outside the smack area but there were 2 coments in your last post, that are most definably smack ;)

It is totally unnecessary to pick someone up and slam them. You don't need to do that to stop someone or tackle them. That's what Miller did to Jim McMahon (after the ball was dead even) in '85(?) on his bad shoulder. Out for rest of season, no second Super Bowl. I do not want to see that happen to one of our guys just because Sapp likes to show off. Especially, not to Faulk.Comment

I have no problem with Sapp's hit on Faulk. This is a physical game, and I don't think it was that much of a cheap shot. Watching highlight films for years and years, Sapp's hit would have been just another hit 10 years ago.
I'm sort of glad Sapp did what he did, maybe it will wake us up. If we don't want to be known as a finesse team, we shouldn't worry about the hit. Faulk is fine, not hurt. We just need to do it to the other side, and we couldn't Monday night.Comment

I dont have a problem with the hit, yeah its football. But when his kids at home ask him why he had to tackle that way, what would be his reply? Son I was just grooming my ego against a team that won the superbowl we should have won? Just a thought. Too right it is football and hits are part of that. But their aint no rule stopping childish showing off, many players do it on many teams.
On a similar note I am glad players and fans feel like they have to give the rams special treatment on the field and in the bars and smack talk forums. Shows that we must be good if so many are so bothered about the rams. The Breakfast Club. You want cheese with that?Comment

Sapp's hit on Faulk
I was just shocked that Faulk even said anything about it. Normally he takes the shots and goes about his business. My opinion is that I've seen worse not called and I've seen little touchy stuff called. I go on the side that the hit was okay because if Fletcher would have done it we would have all been saying "good hit".Comment

I have my problem with the way our O line blocked than with Sapp. If anything, we should be screaming at the line.Comment

You say I am talking smak. Nay, I say!! I will ask one question....Did I say "Faulk sucks and is overrated!!!"? Those are two examples of smak. A far cry from my words, wouldn't you say? On the contrary, I said the exact opposite.
