I was pulling for Alex Cappa if he was available since he would've been a very good potential upgrade at guard, though I obviously see why they went OT since Cappa's strength was moving in to guard, he'd get beat by quicker guys at OT, though blocking itself wasn't an issue.

Kinda bummed lol, mainly cause my brother goes to the same school for track, and is about to graduate btw , but I've gotten to watch that team over the last 3 years whenever I could catch a stream of the game and definitely want him to succeed for multiple reasons. Small school + bias lol, really though I think he'll be great in Tampa

That said, Idk anything about noteboom, so I'll look at what I can, but so far it seems like a solid pick if his problems and unknowns can be fixed by coaching.

Curious to see how the rest of this plays out!

We just picked Franklin DE at 135.
“Oh, 100 percent,” Donald said. “I feel like the words, ‘Thank you,’ ain’t enough. You’ve got to show it... Instead of saying thank you — show it.”

The list of best players available as the 2018 NFL Draft moves to the second round includes several prospects who easily could have been selected in the first round. There is value to be had in Day 2 of the draft at running back, wide receiver, offensive line and cornerback, specifically.

Just because a player is still available as the NFL Draft moves to Day 2 does not mean he isn’t as likely to succeed as a first-rounder — far from it. Many second-round picks have gone on to Hall of Fame-caliber pro careers. The same can be said for third-round picks.

Below are the best players available at each position as the 2018 NFL Draft moves to the second and third rounds. They’re based on player rankings from SN’s pre-draft big board of the top 100 prospects.

                Wonderlic Scores from Combine
                by ramhard
Here are the full list of wonderlic scores from combine. I don't think they mean too much on the defense side of the ball (except for safeties and middle linebackers). I think they mean more to offensive players, especially those that have to make reads and learn the Rams complicated playbook. The concern is that neither Brown (12) or Barnes (16) did all that great. The average is 21.9 with average for OT about 25, with Center and QB having the highest average position score (read and make decisions positions, followed by TE's and ILB (same read and make decisions). The lowest are the reaction positions (WR, CB, RB). Here are the average scores by position, and then the full list individually. I think in the past the Rams have looked at this favorably (didn't Curtis score high).

                Pos. Avg.

                (C) 28.2
                (QB) 27.8
