    The Los Angeles Rams announced Friday that the team released 18 players as the 53-man roster deadline nears. The team waived the following players:

    QB Allen, Brandon

    G Beecham, Abdul

    TE Blanton, Kendall

    TE Brooker, Romello

    TE Brown, Keenen

    RB Colburn, Matt

    DB Gervase, Jake

    WR Greene, Jalen

    T Hitner, Brandon

    C Hrynkiewicz, Vitas

    DT Jones, Bryant

    T Kaskey, Matt

    LB Kupp, Ketner

    WR Lloyd, Johnathan

    P Miller, Brock

    WR Proehl, Austin

    DB Richards, Ramon

    DT Roberts, Boogie

    The NFL deadline to set 53-man rosters is Saturday at 1 p.m. PDT.

    As a "Ram Romantic" I was kind of hoping Kupp's brother would make the team. Or perhaps the Practice Team.

      That's funny, as a "Ram Romantic" I was kind of hoping Ricky Proehl's son would make the team. Or perhaps the Practice Team.

        The deadline for NFL teams to reduce their 80-man offseason rosters to 53 players is Saturday at 1 p.m. pacific time. With these moves, the Rams now have 63 players on their roster....

        IRVINE - The Los Angeles Rams trimmed their roster to meet the mandatory 75-man roster reduction by splitting ways with defensive end Quinton Coples and 14 undrafted free agents Tuesday.

        NFL teams must reduce their roster to 75 players by 1 p.m. PT on Tuesday. The final 53-man roster will need to be set by 1 p.m. PT on Saturday.

        The Rams also announced that T Rob Havenstein has been taken off the physically unable to perform list (PUP)....

        Following is a news release sent out by the Rams today:
        The St. Louis Rams have waived the following players: WR Jared Jenkins, TE Schuylar Oordt and WR Joe West.
        The moves put the Rams roster at 86 players. All NFL teams must trim their rosters to 80 by 3 p.m. CST on Tuesday.

        The Los Angeles Rams remained busy on Wednesday, making a handful of roster moves after shifting things around Tuesday. The most notable announcement was the signing of wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge, who was a standout player in the preseason.

        Hodge has been signed to the active roster after spending a few weeks on the practice squad with the Rams needing help at wide receiver. Injuries to Pharoh Cooper and Mike Thomas have thinned out Los Angeles at the position, but Hodge has a chance to make an impact.

        He’ll take one of the two open roster spots as a result of Brandon Allen’s release and Thomas heading to IR, while the other will go to Jamon Brown. The Rams activated Brown Wednesday after serving his two-game suspension, making him eligible to play on Sunday.

        But wait, that’s not all! After signing Darrell Williams to the practice squad and waiving safety Isaiah Johnson, the Rams signed pass rusher Marcus Martin to the practice squad Wednesday.

        Martin is the NCAA all-time sacks leader, taking down the quarterback 56 times in his time at Division II Slippery Rock....
