Williams hands down...He puts forth the effort, he excels on the field and he's an experienced leader.

I know you were figuring I'd vote for Wistrom. As good and valuable he is, I had to go with Faulk. The wins just seem to come easier when he's in it.

Myself I think Fletcher for the Defense and Faulk for the Offense but overall team hands down

        FAULK :lid:

I noticed Lovie Smith as one of the candidates, and as a Ram fan, I thought it was a no-brainer to vote for him. Although he is not a player, he has impacted this team greatly. His defensive schemes compliment the offense perfectly. Despite playing one of the hardest schedules in the NFL, suffering many injuries, and being on the field many times (due to offensive turnovers), yet still staying among the best overall defenses statistically has astounded  me. To me, they are the best defense in the NFL, Lovie being behind it all.

Now as far as most valuable player, I think the obvious answer (in my mind) is Fletcher. While 'The Marshall' may gain the majority of votes, keep in mind that Trung Canidate also played amazingly in Faulk's place. I choose to stand in the minority :p , and 'Dot Com' hasn't nearly received the appreciation he deserves.

I don't know how I pulled a brain muscle and failed to include "Fletch". :o

I agree, he has played great this year.

              Great among greats...

Captain Aeneas Williams, No. 35 - NFL Rams Corps.

In an already outstanding team (by virtue of its offense), the defense has been the obvious difference /improvement this year. And CB Aeneas Williams has been a tremendous catalyst there.

I think the level of play, and the leadership, added to this team when we picked up Aeneas Williams has made a huge difference. He's my MVP.

I went with Warner. If there is one player the Rams could not lose it would be Warner. Martin can not get the Rams into the big one even with Faulk and the D playing well.

Well you gonna pull them pistols or whistle Dixie??

                    A.W.

I have to go with Mr. Williams. He has done what Marshall did for the offense. He is exactly what the defense needed; a true star to show the young guys the kind of work needed to get there. Without him our defense would have gotten better this year. But it would not be as good as it is.

With Faulk you've got Canidate, the defense is working under the system, the recievers are many, but if Warner falls the RAMS will fall off to different level. :shield:

Is'nt it cool to have so many choices of players!
GOOOOOOO Rams!!! Got to luv it!

                        I agree with you, okieram!
Warner is the most important player for the team!
Though Faulk is an excellent RB (The best!!!), it would be worse to lose Warner due to an injury, because we have no real backup in this position.
I'm not saying that Trung Canidate could replace Faulk, but he has really shown some talent.
Kurt Warner's QB-stats are the best in the league and I don't think that there is a QB who is better than him at this moment.
If he was to become MVP, I wouldn't be surprised.

                        GO RAMS

There are so many players to choose from, I don't think everyone will ever all agree on one player. These are the years to remember.

Sure beats voting for Amp Lee every time. ;)

                              Joint MVP...

Rams Faulk /Warner 2001 co-MVP. Wouldn't that be something!

Hadn't thought about that possibility -- yet I wonder, has it ever happened in the NFL, or would it even allow it? It would be so fitting, I believe. Let's do it!
                              ;)
Meantime, we're on a roll towards THE goal: GO RAMS!!!
