The only thing worse than worrying about getting to 14-2, is getting to 15-2. Please let me calm your fears.
There is reason for real concern about (some) of the play Sunday.
No coach can get inside Wilken's head and figure out why he pulled the field goal attempt. Only Jeff can fix that. Average the missed kick into your calculations in future situations -- but don't waste time thinking about it.
An interception and a drive-stopping sack were the result of a receiver and an offensive lineman failing at their assignments. These items will be addressed.
If not for these three plays the resulting score may have been 38-10, what me worry? No way, concerned yes.
