  • Rams in London

Anybody going to the rams London game V giants in twickenham?

It would be nice to bump into people/Clan rammers.

I might even have a spare face value ticket if anybody is struggling, but you'd be sat next to me :/

I don't know the area so I don't know if there a pub that many will go to, but I am sure there will be a tailgate??

I'll be down for the Saturday parade, staying at a friends house. It does look like there is a tailgate area on the day.

dez, the ticket is L21, row 23 seat 71 off the top of my head, they retailed at 110 but I got 20% off for season ticket making it a bargain at 88. Yours if you want it.

I'm attending this game as well, Section U6 (I prefer the top down view of a game).

I was going to go to the Shack 68 (ticketed) pre game party but not sure this will work now, plus it is expensive for what you get.

I do have a hotel booked in Windsor but this is up in the air at the moment as Mrs Tiger may not now be travelling down for the weekend with me so I may relocate to Central London for ease of drinking.

Would love to meet up with some of you guys at some point for a couple of beers.

The Facebook group Los Angeles Rams UK have designed a flag to be displayed at the Giant @ Rams game at the end of the month

If you have a spare $5 or $10 please do help us to raise the profile of our beloved team here.

If anyone is around on Saturday evening it looks like there might be a few of us at The Green Man on Euston Road, it is the designated Rams pub for the week so hopefully a few random fans there as well.

I'll be there from about 8pm ish.

Sweet, most people made a fairly quick exit after the match but I stayed at the Tailgate until about 8pm and then headed back to the Green Man to meet up with another fan from the FB group for a few drinks, stayed out until about 1230 or so. We have had some chat on FB about having an annual meet up at an International Series game, I'll post something on here if anyone else fancies a meet up for a few beers etc.

The NFL announced today that it will increase the number of games played in London next year.

Some have suggested that the league wishes to have a team in London one day.

The Rams have an owner who also owns a sports franchise in London.

While I don't really think it will happen, let me say right now for the record: a move to London might be the only thing I can imagine that would cause me to cease being a Rams fan.

I am that opposed to having a full-time NFL franchise in London.

Frankly, I can't think of any good argument for having an NFL franchise in London (apart from the potential financial benefits to the league, which I don't care about). In terms of tradition, logistics (distance and time zone), the benefit of regional rivalries, and desireability for players, it is an absolutely horrible idea.

So, while I will support the Rams in St. Louis, Los Angeles, or any place in between, I don't ever want to hear about the London Rams.

Well, actually in early - mid July.

Was looking for some Rams types that might be willing to fill me in on the best places to stay, things to see, etc.

Combining vacation with work, so I have some flexibility.

Someone over at the nflfans board (ex rivals, ex postnet) sent me this direction.

Would even be happy to supply some Rams gear to anyone willing to help me out.

                              Thanks,

                              STL Ram Fan...

Yehaa just got tickets for the Rams vs Giants game

The cool part is that I will be going with 13 collegues who are not Rams fans but are just interested in the NFL. Now I will begin working on converting them :P

Anybody else in here who plan to go to the game?

I will be traveling from Denmark to London on Saturday. Unfortunately, it seems that there will be no big fan rally on Trafalgar this time but only some special invite only event (which I am signed up for, but have not received the invite for yet).

Are special pubs etc. where Rams fans meet?

I plan to be at Twickenham all day on Sunday so I hope there are many Rams fans there ready to support the team, I hope it will be the see W this weekend!

On Saturday I will be wearing a Torry Holt Jersey as I hope he will be there again and that I can get a autograph. I got Marshall Faulk's autograph there many years ago at the Bucs vs Patsies game so I hope to get lucky again.

On Sunday I will be wearing 99 and he will destroy Eli all afternoon
