Re: OMG this video is awesome!!!!

I don't think it was made for just the jumbo-tron at the dome, because I've seen that commercial on tv before. I can't remember exactly when, but i'm pretty sure it wasn't a game. I think it was on the nfl network when they were either re-playing a Rams game or doing one of those yearbook stories for one of the Rams' seasons.

anyways, yeah when i saw that crap on tv I was jumpin' around and ran to another room to give my wife a scene by scene recap (with singing) --- the only thing missing in my play by play analysis was a John Madden telestrator. lol

Nice to see some love for the blue and gold...

its not even a comercial, it was made to be played on the mega screen at the game.

    I-44 does, though.

Highway 40 runs through St. Louis. It just isn't the same 40 that you are thinking of.

Welcome to the Clan, Caligirl! :r

Any chance you know 'Rammiegirl'? She's also from CA but recently has been absent. // Glad you found this site -- really and truly the Best in Ramdome. Honestly.

I hope you keep posting elsewhere too (sorry, I don't drink [zero, zilch, nada]).

    :bash: GO ST. LOUIS RAMS!

    that's cool!

my step mother's, sister and brother in law both work for anhiser busch (TOTALLY spelled that wrong!!). she's some vice president person (or used to be, i think they've both retired now) and he was in marketing...the part that actually decides what commericals to use.

there was a radio commerical they used, kind of like a story line. can't remember it all now but i just remember thinking it was SO annoying. something about some exotic girl or something. anyways, i'm drunk, not thinking about who i'm talking to and i start blabbing on about how annoying this commerical is and how much it gets played on the station i listened to. that's when i was told that Mike worked in that department for the company. oops. i just laughed and had another drink.

Judging by the list there were no doubt a lot of "local" commercials.... must br nigh unto 200 variations.

So, are we Rams fans now bunched together with the "Pickled Pigs Feet Eater"?

The ads feature a somber-but-sarcastic announcer (Pete Stacker) and an unctuous rock singer who echoes the announcer's sentiments over schmaltzy "dramatic" piano music. The rock singer's vocals are by one-time Survivor singer David Bickler (not the band's founder and frontman Jim Peterik as is often reported) original vocalist of such songs like Eye Of The Tiger, Poor Man's Son, Caught In The Game, American Heartbeat & Rebel Girl.

Actually, I believe the singer is the former lead singer of the 80s rock group Survivor ("Eye of the Tiger," "The Search is Over," "High on You").
